It screws very well onto the lens; very transparent, used for night photos with front lights in the frame it did not introduce reflections or decrease the resolution of the optics

purchased this as I was missing some from some used Nikkor ai-s lenses I picked up. Throwing it on and comparing it to the other filters I had. These filters don’t even look like they are there. Very impressed. Price may seem high but looks to be worth it.

This has really protected my lens from a big shock. Came here to write this review. Moreover there is no loss of sharpness and no color tint.

Very thin build which is important especially with wide/ extra wide lens. It is nearly unnoticed in terms of influence on the length of the lens. The glass is very clear with no impact on image quality.

buy UV filters mainly to protect my lenses. I want something that isn't too expensive and is reasonably neutral. I've bought loads of these filters and, to date, I haven't been disappointed. I know there is a school of thought that suggests lenses are better without UV filters - but I don't subscribe to that school and I don't see the filters degrading the quality of my lenses or introducing colour casts.
