It provides a really unique effect for your photos. Definitely not an every-day lens, as it does a distortion of a Kaleidoscope, reminds of of when I was a kid.
The kit also includes a few lens cleaning cloths as well, nice little perk.
It's really well constructed, and was a perfect fit (I got the 58mm thread)
If you are unsure of the thread size you need, you can look at your lens, or even web search your specific lens to get the info to make sure you get the correct size.
Would I recommend it? If you are looking to add a new artistic look to change up your photography game, this is one great way to do it!

my mom has one of those lense balls that uses when she goes to the beach and i thought hey what would be even cooler is a kaleidoscope lenses so i got her a few different ones but this one is for sure the nicest of the bunch this thing is amazing and takes some great photo's

I’m looking forward to my next trip to the botanical garden as I think I’ll be able to get some different photos. The kaleidoscope look is new to me but I’m looking to use to dress up some PowerPoint presentations and just for some fun shots
