This is my first experience using a Neutral Density filter, let alone a variable one, so I don't pretend to be an expert. I haven't had time to really play with this filter either; I just took a few quick shots to see what it does. However, I am impressed with this filter. It is clearly a very high quality filter. Even though this filter can be adjusted from ND2 (1 stop) to ND2000 (11 stops),l the frame is very thin and is made of high grade machined aluminum. The filter is adjusted by turning the outer ring; there are eleven marks to indicate the amount of adjustment, and the adjustment ring moves very smoothly with adequate resistance. The filter is made of multi-coated glass to reduce glare and other anomalies. On my 18-35mm lens, the lens hood will not fit with the filter installed, and neither will the lens cap. The three attached photos show how the filter can be used to reduce the amount of light. The three shots are from the minimum setting to the middle setting; all camera settings are the same except for the shutter speed. I tried some shots at higher filter settings, but the effect was too great (at least given my limited knowledge). While I still have a great deal to learn about using this filter effectively, clearly it has a great deal of potential. This is a precision device at a price that is much less than some other brands I have looked at.

The filter I ordered arrived quickly the next day. Everything was nicely packaged in a cardboard box and a plastic case with a sponge for protection and storage when not in use. Previously, I used filters without adjusting the aperture, and it was quite problematic. I travel a lot, including to the tropics with bright sunlight or to Arab countries. It often came out while I was changing filters with different apertures, sometimes a few times during a trip. This filter has a variable aperture, which will be very useful for me; I've been looking for it. I took a few photos at home in different light conditions and I'm very pleased that, despite the low light, I don't have to remove the filter to take a picture or significantly overclock the camera's settings. The photo quality is very good. I'm going on a trip to the UAE and other Asian countries at the end of February. I'll add to my experience with this filter after testing it under real-world, variable conditions, but I think it will do the job. I'll also try using this filter with paints. The product itself looks solid and very carefully crafted, with no plastic or resin components. There's only one downside that disappointed me: the kit doesn't include a lens cap, and my standard 58mm lens doesn't fit. I'll have to buy a lens cap myself to protect it as best as possible.

If you use the Neewer cage, you can screw the filter directly onto the cage. The result when taking photos with your iPhone is like a booster. What was previously only possible for users with a large camera can now be easily used to enhance your photos with your iPhone. The price is definitely reasonable. The build quality is impressive.
An excellent ND filter for iPhone

Camera: Canon M6 MKII Filter size: 52mm An excellent ND filter that does the job. Performed excellent in broad daylight. No issues with "X" on maximum setting. Lightweight and didn't add affect gimbal operation after re-balancing. Mechanism to change intensity is pretty smooth, but time will tell if the physical ring will get gunky and stick. 55mm cap will fit on the ND Filter, as original cap will not fit. Original hood will not fit. Both of these issues were called out in the description, so no issues. The plastic case is a generic case, so it kind of swims inside it. It is foam padded on one side so it only slides instead of bouncing in full 3D motion.
Excellent value for money

decided to try this ND2-2000 filter from K&F Concept in the 49mm diameter size for my 35mm f/1.8 lens mounted on the Sony ZV-E10. The filter in question offers a wide range of stops between ND2 and ND2000, allowing for great versatility in both photography and video. In photography it is very useful for obtaining long shutter speeds even in broad daylight, for example to capture the silk effect on water, while in video it is essential for compensating for excessively high exposures while maintaining the same aperture and depth of field. The build quality is excellent: the glass used is top quality, while the nano coating improves its performance by reducing reflections to a minimum, furthermore, the surface always remains clean. I was positively impressed by the very reduced thickness of the filter, just 7.4mm, which does not add weight to the equipment, the thread is precise and allows for quick assembly/disassembly. I would just like to point out that the ring travel to change the intensity of the filter does not have any type of stop, therefore it rotates infinitely on itself, therefore I recommend always checking exactly at which stop it is positioned before taking a shot or filming. Overall, it is a reliable and well-built variable ND filter, which due to its characteristics is extremely versatile for both photography and video. At 49mm it was a good purchase for my 35mm lens, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a complete and excellent quality product.

bought this variable ND filter for the 18-55 lens with 52mm diameter of my Nikon. It turned out to be perfectly compatible with the declared diameter of the lens and it screws on without problems. It is a variable filter, which allows you to reduce the light gradually, from 2 stops up to 11 stops. I found the possibility of adjusting the density of the filter gradually very useful. This allowed me to obtain optimal results in different situations, without having to change the filter every time. In the attached photos you can see the difference between the photo without the filter and the one with the filter applied and the longer exposure time. The attached tests were done with exposure times between 2 and 8 seconds. Obviously, to achieve excellent results you need a lot of practice and you need to know how to use manual focus because once the filter is inserted if the light is reduced a lot the lens has difficulty focusing automatically. For the moment I am very satisfied and I would recommend it.

You can get more creative specially while shooting videos and play around more with the lower apertures. I have some of these variable ND filters for all my prime lenses.

bought this to take pictures of the eclipse a while back and it worked amazingly. What I love most is the ability to adjust the tint.
