K&F combined a circular polarizer with a variable neutral density filter to come up with this excellent 82mm variable fader and CPL as they call it. The 82mm size fits most of my Nikon Z lenses.

It is easy to adjust using the two red opposing tabs on the barrel. A beautiful professional filter at a fair price

Good quality optic and picture comes out great.
Wish it had wider variable range, but works as is well.
I have several K&F filters and they are all good, and this one is good, too.

The workmanship is top-notch, the thread is flawless, so the filter fits perfectly.
It does what it promises, but the combination is not without its disadvantages.
1. It is thicker and protrudes further than simple filters - as a result, the protective caps, for example, do not fit
2. It is difficult to use, as the polarization is very stiff and the darkening is not smooth either. You will spend the first time finding the right grip so that you do not change the polarization when darkening or turn off the filter when polarizing.

Therefore: if you are willing to invest the time to practice, you get a
2in1 filter for the price of one.

As an avid photographer constantly exploring new techniques and tools to enhance my craft, I recently invested in the K&F Concept 82mm Variable ND Filter, and I'm excited to share my experience with fellow photography enthusiasts. This filter has quickly become an indispensable part of my kit, offering unparalleled versatility and convenience for capturing stunning images in a variety of lighting conditions. The variable ND feature allows me to easily adjust the amount of light entering my lens, giving me greater control over exposure and enabling creative effects such as long exposures and shallow depth of field, even in bright sunlight. I was impressed by the filter's build quality – crafted from high-quality materials, it feels robust and durable, yet remains lightweight and easy to handle. Additionally, the slim design minimizes vignetting and maintains image sharpness, ensuring optimal performance with no compromises. Whether shooting landscapes, portraits, or action shots, the K&F Concept Variable ND Filter delivers consistently exceptional results, making it a must-have accessory for photographers seeking maximum flexibility and image quality. A great filter, ultra-slim design makes this filter easy to carry, and it does not add any significant bulk to my bag. The filter rotates freely and feels well-constructed.

I was concerned that the nubs sticking out on the sides would get in the way or get bumped easily, but I think they're really convenient. It's easy to reach for when you want to adjust it and they don't seem to get caught on things like I was worried about. Quality of images are reliably good quality from K&F

The adjustable density range allows precise control of light for various exposure effects, while the polarizing aspect improves color saturation and contrast. The build quality is impressive, ensuring sharpness and clarity in my shots. The self-locking technology and infinite rotation design add convenience, particularly for video shooting. It's a valuable tool for any photographer looking to elevate their craft.

“Very good filter, the quality is there.
Very practical to have both filters at the same time.
Very practical to also be able to modify the ND filter using the variation ring"

Took this out at the weekend for a trip to the coast and boy I'm glad I did.
What started as a grey miserable day developed into blue skies, sun, rain and back to sun half a dozen times, somewhat challenging conditions when you are trying to get seascapes and lighthouse shots.

Suffice to say this was a godsend, ND2 to 32 is perfect for this time of the year, although it struggles a little with the harsh low winter sun as the day closes, and being polarised it was perfect when shooting in the still waters of the harbour at Amlwch.

I can't sing the praises of this company enough, they supplied the bag I carried on the day, the tripod I used and a selection of filters.
If you need a variable ND with this range, you can stop looking, you have found it.
