Takes some tinkering with but it‘s easier to use than the larger ones from the science labs. I used it for microbiology, college level, and it did what I needed it to.

Great product for its price. The 25x eyepiece that comes with this had a few minor artifacts and my only criticism about this microscope would be the lack of range the stage can be adjusted. Granted, it‘s an ergonomically compact microscope so that's probably a trade-off that had be to made. Also, the 100 x lens is nearly useless since the stage cannot seem to be adjusted to be within focal length. All in all though, I was able to look at my own semen! I mean aerogel!

disc iris wheel does not have clear markings that are legible; The manual downloaded from the website does not explain what the disc iris wheel settings. otherwise works good. I purchased to examine parasites on marine fish.

I bought the Kentfaith M150C for my 7 year old for his birthday and he really liked it. I also bought the Kentfaith 25 Prepared Biology Microscope Slides and the Gosky Microscope Lens Adapter.
Back to the Kentfaith M150C, it‘s solidly built and I did not notice anything wrong with it until I put the 3 AA batteries in the bottom. It took a while, but I noticed that it's missing a spring in one of the battery slots, thus not making battery connection. I was utterly disappointed and thought I had to do a makeshift fix to get this to work. I decided to look at the power adapter and noticed that it supported 110v - 220v, to my surprise, because on their website it mentioned that it only supports 110v (I live in a 220v country). So, we were able to enjoy the microscope on his birthday.

This was definitely a Quality Control issue and I think Kentfaith should revisit their factories to ensure they deliver quality products for their customers. Be it their cheapest to their most expensive models, small details like this can definitely hurt the reputation of the company. I chose Kentfaith because of the favorable reviews and I chose this particular model for it's metal construction, I wanted something to last. But the missing spring in the battery slot is a disappointment.

This microscope is smaller than a previous one I used to teach high school biology but sufficient. It is basic and the clarity is great considering the cost. Good value if you are looking to teach general concepts.

Would need a case to transport it. Useable for 9th grade biology. Sometimes strength could be higher.would order it again if needed.

The lenses are weird to figure out; zoom-in is insignificant. The light is a little dimmer than expected.

Slide tray is a little shaky at high magnification. Other than that it’s a good one so far.

Easy to use, only complaint is that the battery pack base was lacking two metal plates to complete the circuit. This is not a problem as using the power source provided was always part of the plan.
