This is my initial review for the K&F Concept Magnetic Black Soft Diffusion, and I'll continue updating it as I am using it.

I am so excited to have this K&F Concept Diffusion. I received it this evening and I am in love. I have ordered similar diffuser from a different brand before from B&H and have been disappointed with it, but this one is a whole different story. I love the magnetic feature, it's so intuitive and stupid easy to use. It is true to the picture, maybe even prettier! It's very high quality and it looks exactly like advertised. I love the details, I am always trying to find great deals like this one. I find it very well priced for the quality that it offers, everything about it is screaming premium. It feels very well made, durable and easy to use. I really enjoy the design and functionality. At my age I am always searching for products and items that can make my life easier and better in whatever way. This product has improved my quality of life, I just keep recommending it to friends and family, I will defiantly do another order soon. I am extremely satisfied with it and I do recommend it 100 percent. Definitely a great experience, no complaints whatsoever. All around great product and worth every penny!

I've used this filter a few times for my creative photography and videography and I can tell you that K&F Concept has done it again.

I can't post images of content I've paid for due to contractual reasons, but this is definitely a professional filter.

I noticed no degradation in image resolution, no white balance issues, no vignetting or distortion when the filter was on.

It arrived in a rather large protective case which I immediately threw away and it was bulky, hard and bigger than it needed to be, but I do own a K&F filter case (shown in the pictures, not included with the filter) which I use.

Whilst I don't like the carrying case this is a GREAT Black Mist filter, it feels high quality, assembly was smooth, it feels sturdy and although I have NOT tested the scratch resistance I have faith in K&F Concept products.

Great value for a premium filter, would recommend to anyone in the market for one.

Preferring the shot to post-processing, I tried this filter with the only lighting from an electric garland and the rendering was good, the light from the garland is diffused and softer.
I can't wait to use it for nighttime videos when restrictions are lifted.

It is a "magic" filter for portraits. It softens skin tones and imperfections.
I wish I had known about this years ago.

This filter is the cinema. It's the perfect power for all video work and photos, although the 1/8 could be better for normal client work. Viewing footage shot with this filter is an experience in itself. The quality preservation is spot on. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the 82mm, so I wouldn't need to purchase more than one. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the "cinematic look". That's it. This is the cinema.

I bought this filter by reading the reviews.
I have to say that it works well, the images are qualitatively improved.
It has a nice box/case ideal for transporting without damaging it.

It has good picture quality. The frames are made of metal and can be easily screwed to my lens. The glass has no scratch. The small container for the filter can be easily transported on the go.

Magnets are magic. Don't get me wrong, these magnets just aren't quite as strong as I would prefer for something covering my expensive glass. The Black Soft Diffusion Filter is interesting. Wouldn't be my first choice next time, but it provides an interesting softening of light sources like campfires, night lights, etc. A bit spooky, but subtle.

I have the K&F magnet system on all my lenses and, in addition to the Black Mist, I have several of the appropriate ND and CPL filters here. They're so handy, easily stackable and the connection is strong enough that I don't have to worry about one of them falling off. The black fog effect is very low here and is only really noticeable with a lot of backlighting. Many cheaper filters often have a color cast, but I didn't notice that at all with the K&F.

The only downside is that with my Sony lenses, at least the included magnetic caps are really hard to pull off when you have the lens hood on the lens (either forwards or backwards). A grippy element on the front of the cap would have helped. I could 3D print a holder and glue it there to fix it. As the caps aren't really the main reason for using a magnetic filter system although I still give 5 stars they would have been a nice bonus if they worked well but they aren't really critical to the product.

The quality is there, the light and the faces are diffused as desired. Change and give a soft cinema look to all your shots! I have already tried cheaper filters but here I must admit that the filter does the job really well. Night shoots look better with it! At the top I recommend!
