82mm Brass Frame Multifunctional CPL+ND2-32 Filter ultra-thin High-Definition Optical Glass Coated with Waterproof and Anti-Scratch Anti-Reflection Green Film with two Orange Levers Nano-Xcel Pro Series
SKU: KF01.2003
The K&F Concept Circular Polarizers Filter Super Slim with 36 Multi-Layer Coatings, High Definition Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) Camera Lens Filters (Nano-X PRO Series):
Is one of the best quality filters I've used. Everything about it is premium. From the packaging to the filter wallet to the product itself is top notch. It has a powder-coated brass frame and a high-quality, crystal-clear look. A filter that I don't find bad when I put it in front of my best glass. The threads are precisely worked and can be screwed in and out very easily. The CP rotation feels incredible, buttery smooth. Like its hydraulics, but it's not that, it's just ridiculously smooth action. Like a high quality potentiometer. The knurling feels very good, and overall the whole thing feels really great in the hand. As for the polarization effect, it works as it should and as expected and with crystal clear optics. The included filter pouch is made of suede and heavyweight denim and features a drawstring to pull out the filter without having to put your fingers in the pouch. The whole thing is pretty lux. The packaging itself is a very classy, thick black box with gold accents. The box also turns into a picture frame. The package also includes a microfiber cloth. Overall, this is a very luxurious filter. It's a bit pricey, but the quality definitely matches the price. You sometimes get what you pay for and this is one of those times. You don't want to buy high quality lenses that cost thousands of dollars and put a cheap filter on them. This is the kind of filter that you can feel comfortable with on your best lenses.

Yes, you pay for it, but I've seen much more expensive filters that didn't look or work as well.
After testing this, I saw absolutely no optical distortion. It's a beautiful polarizing filter that's as precision engineered as you can get. The threads screw into the lens very easily and the ring turns buttery smooth. This way you can get any kind of grady action you want in terms of polarization. This mechanism, the simple one, is incredibly precise.
The glass is absolutely perfectly flat as far as I can measure. And even with the laser test I could not detect any distortion.
This is said to have a kind of nano-coating that makes it scratch-resistant and also makes water roll off much more easily. I really hope not to test this.
Every filter from this company has been consistently top notch. Absolutely professional quality is no different with this one. I have a German made polarizer for $300 and I don't think you can tell the difference. I also have some other expensive ones that aren't nearly as good as this one.
The Germans look and feel identical. And that for half the price. This company makes top notch stuff. I will have no qualms about ever buying a K&F filter.

I have broken down my evaluation for you and them into reason for purchase, first impression, product test, suggestions for improvement, tips and conclusion. I hope this helps with clarity.
I received the product for free as a Vine product tester, but this does not affect my rating. I only test things that I can use sensibly and integrate into my everyday life.
Reason for purchase:
I ordered this filter for 2 reasons. The first reason is that if I just want to travel light, I don't want to take my complete cartridge filter system with me. Secondly, I can use it well in videography, where I usually film according to the 180 degree rule. This means that in order to get a cinematic video image with a certain degree of motion blur in the individual image, you film e.g. B. with a shutter speed of 1/fps x 2, I'm filming at 50fps, so I need a shutter speed of 1/100s, which is not possible without an ND filter, especially at wide angle in sunshine.
First impression:
The packaging looks very classy, but in view of the asking price for the filter, you are welcome to do so. The filter is in an equally pretty and high-quality filter bag, which I have never seen in this form with round filters. The tab on the side allows you to lift the filter to avoid accidental contact with the glass when removing it. The closure of the bag is magnetic. A nice gimmick is that the cardboard packaging of the filter can be transformed into a small picture frame.
Product test:
The filter feels like a dream, heavy (91g) and easy to grip, I also really like the colour-contrasting adjustment aids. These can also be removed if you wish to continue using a lens hood. For this you need a small Microtorx, eg from a precision mechanical kit. When the filter is set, it runs buttery smooth across all stages.
The filter showed no weaknesses in the test. As a result, I could not detect any color cast and there was also no X-Cross effect. The promised effect of up to 5 f-stops is retained. Technically perfect and that is the most important aspect of an ND filter.
Suggestions for improvement:
1. The sustainability aspect, as taken up when using cardboard as a picture frame, could also be reflected in the filter bag by not using animal products (leather).
2. An 82mm variant would be desirable and recommendable, then the filter could also be used on (m) a 24-70mm/2.8, for example.
Tips:
It is always advisable to buy such a filter with the largest possible diameter so that you can adapt it to as many lenses as possible in your own fleet using step-down rings. Of course, this also eliminates the possibility of continuing to use a sun visor.
Conclusion:
Technically flawless filter in the upper price segment.
I hope my review was helpful in your decision making.

I received this product as a free trial as part of the Vine program. Thanks very much.
The price for the 77 mm variant is in a demanding range at €180; the expectations are corresponding. I compare the filter side by side with my Käsemann B+W KSM HTC-POL MRC nano XS-PRO DIGITAL, which is about 25% cheaper depending on the source.
The K&F circular polarizing filter comes in a high-quality cardboard slipcase packaging. The actual case is just as high quality. The question is whether such a chic case is also ideal for transport - or whether the classic plastic filter box does not offer better protection against mechanical damage or moisture. I mean yes.
Visually, I think the K&F filter is excellent, and that's the main thing. I can't tell the result from my Käsemann B+W filter. Both filters swallow a little more than 1 f-stop of light. The effect is indistinguishable. I don't notice any optical impairments or color shifts. See photos. In my example photos, I worked with a constant white balance.
The filter can be easily screwed in. It is approx. 5 mm thick without the filter thread, my Käsemann B+W filter is only approx. 4 mm.
Now my point of criticism, which leads to the deduction of a star. The filter is relatively stiff when new, in contrast to my Käsemann B+W filter. By turning it back and forth several times I got it smoother. But the circulation isn't quite even, there are places that run better and places that offer a little more resistance. No problem at all, the filter can be used without any problems, but as I said, we are talking about a high-priced product and I have the direct comparison.
Four stars.

You can tell right away when unpacking that this filter is of very high quality, because it comes in high-quality hard cardboard packaging. A very stylish and practical case is also included. The filter itself also looks super high-quality, scratch-resistant and works wonderfully!
You can easily screw it onto the lens and rotate it, although it's a bit stiff. But it doesn't slip either!
The price is quite high, but if you are willing to pay that much, you will have an absolute top product!

Although I have a filter of the same brand that does its job properly, it doesn't allow you to change the light and contrast. This filter allows, albeit in a subtle way, it allows you to gently rotate the lens once it is attached, modifying the light, the contrast and the color of the perception of the image It is not a modification with many variations, but it allows, easily retouch the intensity with which an image is captured.
One could give a minus point for the price, but in my opinion it is a personal and relative assessment.
The quality is very good and it does its job perfectly.

I had the opportunity to test the polarization filter from K&F.
Facts:
• Thread size: 67mm
• Multi-coating
• Waterproof
• Bag included
The filter is delivered in an attractive product packaging. The customer's interest is immediately aroused here and he wants to get started. The bag that comes with it protects the filter optimally.
It looks very robust and scratch-resistant.
Furthermore, it can be adjusted very well and enables exact adjustment or fixation. The effect that can be achieved with this polarizing filter cannot be achieved in post-processing. The filter shows its quality especially with reflective water surfaces.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the result of this filter. It ensures a significant increase in the quality of your images. Clear purchase recommendation from my side.

I was allowed to test the K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series polarizing filter 72mm, the flagship from K&F.
At the time of the offer, the CPL filter was around 150 euros, i.e. in the upper price segment for a screw-on filter.
The filter arrives at home elaborately and attractively packaged, it makes a very noble impression. It comes with a sturdy pouch (a mix of fabric and suede appliqués) which has a magnetic lid and is also lined with very soft material on the inside, which is also good because the filter is stored in this pouch almost naked. A band is guided outwards on the side. If you pull on this band, the filter is transported upwards. So the bag is already made very nice and noble. A welded-in microfiber cloth is also included in the scope of delivery.
The filter itself is very well made, the threads (on the lens side and on the front) are cleanly cut, so it can be screwed on without any problems. The glass shows no damage or flaws. However, what I noticed about this filter is that it is difficult to turn, in my opinion a bit too difficult. The problem becomes apparent when you use it, either you screw the filter really tight to the lens, or you turn it off again. This can get annoying when aligning the CPL, because I'm used to turning the filter back and forth for this. The optical performance of the filter is really very good, there are no color errors in the image. The CPL removes reflections from surfaces and gives a cloudy sky more contrast than one is used to from a CPL. There is no vignetting on my wide angle.
I would have loved to give the K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series polarizing filter all 5 if it weren't for the difficult thing about adjusting the filter. With a filter (72mm) for about 150 euros, something like that shouldn't be in my opinion. Otherwise the filter is very good.

An 82mm polarization filter from the K&F Concept brand from the Nano-X PRO series is supplied.
Overall, I find the presentation very valuable, appealing and goes for me in the PRO area - the price too ;-).
The unboxing was a WOW! experience for me. A filter that puts a smile on your face when you unpack it has to be good -
..and it is.
I think the filter is really great! It is well made, makes a high-quality impression, can be easily screwed onto the Tamron 24-70mm 2.8f G2, the imaging performance is great and I don't see any dark spots, "ghosting" or the like at the edges (as with some other cheaper manufacturers /products). The reflections can already be taken out when taking pictures, which in turn reduces the tedious post-processing.
I left the scratch test at this point, after all I want to use the good glass with maximum performance ;) I don't need a scratch on it for the time being, it will inevitably come by itself at some point. Now to the one catch
:
The packaging, i.e. the transport box, is not 100% mine - why? Because I'm more of a hard-shell type, where I can put the filter. Nicely laid out in itself, but not quite as practical for me personally.
Conclusion:
for me, the polarizing filter is a great choice. Certainly not a snapper at first glance, but you also get a high-quality product for such a price. I have already mentioned the weakness with the case mentioned above. It's not really my thing, but ultimately it's also a matter of taste.
In the end, what counts is the quality of the polarizing filter, and it's great!

Transparency note:
The product was made available to me free of charge as an evaluation sample, free of any influence or expectations. My rating is based solely on my personal assessment and experience of using the product.
Evaluation:
For the quick readers I anticipate my evaluation, below I explain the details of my decision-making, my impressions of the product.
I only take a minimal point deduction and award 5 stars, i.e. 5 stars rounded up.
My only criticism is that the filter is slightly too stiff to turn, i.e. its operation when it is screwed onto the lens, but I hope that will settle down a bit over time. No, the rotation is not difficult, but a bit tough, I expect a somewhat smoother movement here.
Processing quality:
The slim frame is of very good quality, precisely processed and varnished. I appreciate slim filters, they don't build up as high on the lens and thus don't limit the angle of view, especially at the extreme wide angle.
Slim filters can have the disadvantage of being more difficult to handle because the grip ring is very thin. Here it is helpful if it is handy and that is exactly what the K&F filter is.
I can grasp the filter very well and see no problem even with wet fingers.
The glass in the filter is very high quality, optical glass, very precisely processed and absolutely flat, and also multiply coated.
First take the filter in your hand and see through it, preferably against strong contrasts and straight lines, for example a facade.
Here you can see that you don't see any interference. I don't see any distortion, the image is absolutely flat on the entire surface of the filter, and I don't see any color distortions, I'm very satisfied.
It doesn't look any different when I screw the filter onto my lens, but here there is another aspect, possible reflections, but this is exactly what a polarization filter is supposed to eliminate.
In terms of the image effect, this is absolutely indisputable, be it on the water surface or on panes, reflections are suppressed very well, as expected. But there is another aspect and that is the reflections on and behind the filter towards the lens when backlighting from small point light sources is incident at an acute angle. I don't observe any reflections here, which speaks for a very good coating and glass quality of the filter.
I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging of the filter and that starts with the attractive outer packaging in a high-quality slipcase.
It contains a flap case with a magnetic clasp, it is very decorative and practical, and is of significantly higher quality and classier than the widely used plastic boxes.
Conclusion:
The K&F polarization filter is not a bargain at currently just under €150, but it is inexpensive in the truest sense of the word and is clearly placed in the premium segment. The processing quality itself is just as impeccable as the optical imaging performance on the lens. The case that comes with it is very attractive.
Only the somewhat stiff adjustment of the alignment slightly disturbs the overall impression, so I subtract half a star for this. In the overall impression, this only plays a subordinate role and leads me to an almost unreserved purchase recommendation.
Thank you for your attention in reading my review. If you want, please give me feedback on it, I'm happy about it.
