but, overall, very happy with this filter, and easily compares to much more expensive filters. this and my Hoya MC UV, are what i keep on my lenses.
pay more if it makes u feel good, or you need to impress some other photog, but its wasted money you could put into other equipment.

Surely you can spend much more to get better effects but you can also get the same effects with software after the shot is taken and or during the shot using internal software options. I use filters to protect the lens and to save time after the shot without using software after the download

Great lens filter at a good price. I didn't notice any blue tint or reduced image quality.

Bought this as optional protection for my tilt shift lens. Surprisingly this has had no negative effect on pictures, except in situations where any filter would impeded photo quality. I was planning on only using it when shooting in situations where the lens could get scratched but it as proven itself and has stayed on.

For me, when buying a filter, the most important thing is that the image quality is not affected, this filter seemed cheap to me and I thought that perhaps it was going to affect the image quality that my camera produces, however, I can say that it is almost imperceptible that I am using a filter to protect the lens of my camera, I definitely recommend this filter if you want to protect the lens of your camera!

The fact that this thing is multi-coated makes it a million times better than any non-multi-coated variant. I've bought a different brand 77mm UV filter before and it's extremely horrible with specular highlights, especially in low light. Always, always be coated several times.
Attached is a photo I took with the filter on and it works fine. Take a look. I had no problems with it, it works, can't say it's there, what more can you ask for?

Excellent filter for the price. I think every lens should have a UV filter for protection if nothing else, so bought this for my new lens. I can't tell you how nice the glass is....just buy it and see what you think. I don't think that you will be disappointed at this price-point!

Clear high quality filter & protector for my old faithful Pentax k1000's stock lens. Both my 49mm diameter lenses, 50mm focal length and my 28mm. Screwed right on, no binding grinding or sticking. Screws off easily as well. Very happy with this brand & quality. Comes with a really nice lens wiping cloth too. Should always use a puffer first to blow off anything that might scratch the glass.

I've ordered a number of these for my lenses (and tried many others). The K&F multi-coated glass protects expensive lenses and makes no visible difference in very high resolution photos - which is exactly what I needed. For the money I don't think you'll find a better product.

I try to keep a skylight filter on my expensive lens for protection mostly and I usually buy OEM versions. This filter is clear and well made. I have not noticed any degradation of photo quality or color rendition using this filter. Overall, a good thin filter.
