82mm MCUV Filter ultra-thin Trapezoid Patterned Frame Coating with a Vacuum Cleaning Cloth Nano-Klear
SKU: KF01.K82V2
Is that a BW Kaseman? No, but for the same price you can equip three lenses and get the same results! I don't notice any ghosting or glare in my photos, and I can simply use a light bulb to blow away any dirt or dust I see on the surface. Regarding color: No, I don't see any changes in color values when using this particular filter. I can easily recommend this filter product line to anyone.

When my husband and I go on day trips, I often write about it and (after posting it on Facebook) I sometimes submit the stories to publications. So my husband's photos are very important. My husband takes his photos with a Canon SL2 DSLR. He uses a few lenses. When he got my camera, we didn't have much money left over so we bought the cheapest lens protector that had good reviews. It's been a while and he now has a second lens, this one is a telephoto lens and he wanted something better. This K&F filter works great. It has a UV coating that is similar to my prescription glasses. So you have a faint green glow when you look at the reflection of light coming off the glass surface. It attaches easily to your Canon lens. The lens cap works. I don't really see much of a difference in photo quality. It only costs $10, which is very affordable and protects the lens well.

Yes, this filter blocks UV rays, but most importantly it protects my lens. For the price, the quality and workmanship are pretty good. I own other filters from K&F that are much more expensive and I have had great results with them. Let's face it, we primarily buy UV filters to protect our investment in our lenses and for me this filter service is here for exactly that purpose. As with other K&F filters, a microfiber cloth was included. This is a good deal for the money.

This works well for its price. If this is your first filter, I would say you are better off buying one with better light transmission. It's better to pay more once than to regret it, if that's even possible. And you don't have to spend hundreds on a better UV filter. If that doesn't matter or if it's a backup filter, I can recommend it. This will be a backup filter for me so I will use it sparingly and didn't need a first class filter in this case.

The item received met my basic expectations. The glass filter (not plastic) is coated on both sides for anti-reflection, which is reflected in the green reflections. The filter frame was finely and precisely machined using CNC machines; it was easy to screw onto a lens. When I examine this K&F filter side by side with a much more expensive Hoya Fusion UV filter that I also use, I actually notice some differences. In particular, the green-tinted reflections of this K&F filter are more noticeable than the weaker reflections of the Japanese-made Hoya filter (which claims 99.8% transmittance). That's to be expected from the much more expensive Hoya, and it's also why I use it for a telephoto lens that I often use outdoors. However, I don't need the Hoya for every lens I own. I find this K&F filter pretty good enough for my less frequently used lenses and for most situations. (And if the situation is particularly prone to ghosting, for example, I know enough to simply remove the filter in that particular situation.) (I also liked that the included cleaning cloth came in factory-sealed packaging, just like wet eyeglass wipes . This gives me a little more confidence that the cleaning cloth hasn't been contaminated with tiny sand that could cause scratches. I personally don't use this type of cleaning cloth carelessly on filters and lenses, but it's a nice touch.) LIKES: - Reasonable price - Precise CNC machined filter frame - Anti-reflective coatings on filter surfaces, good enough for most normal situations. I like the balance between good enough quality and reasonable price that I find with this K&F Concept UV filter. It is mainly used to protect the lens from sand and dust. That's why I give this filter 5 stars. (Some filters on Amazon are now more expensive than a brand camera *lens* they are used on. That's not a reflection of quality, but 99% of marketing. Crazy.)

What can I say? The main requirement for a UV filter is that it does not affect image quality. After screwing it onto my compact camera, the photos look the same, and I can still put my lens cap on or stack other filters on top despite the thin form factor. It is great! The packaging was great too. The filter came in a hard case for storage, although I plan to just leave it on my camera lens for protection. If it gets scratched, don't worry — I'll just replace it! I like that it came with a large microfiber cloth for cleaning. It was very useful to clean both sides of this filter and camera lens before attaching it.

I immediately put it on a brand new lens and it fit well and I didn't see any distortion or lack of quality in my images.

have a few Sigma Art lenses that require a large 82mm filter, so I wanted something that I could only use in a harsh environment to protect these expensive lenses. Something of good optical quality but not very expensive to replace if necessary and these conditions will probably make it necessary. I was so impressed with initial test shots I took under various lighting conditions that I won't hesitate to use this filter if the conditions require it. I attribute the optical quality to the 18 layers of multi-coating. This isn't my first filter from K&F Concept, so I wasn't surprised at all. However, I am surprised at the retail price for a filter of this quality. While the widest lens I'll use with this filter is 40mm, the thin frame should allow it to be used at much shorter focal lengths without vignetting. Taking into account the current retail price, five stars for excellent quality and value for money from a trusted brand.

The glass in this filter is very thin. I haven't had a chance to test whether it holds up to being banged around or not. I wouldn't use this filter in my bag without a lens cap, but I know it will protect against minor abrasions, dirt, and scratches. I like the knurled edge that helps me grip it and remove it from my camera with the deeply built-in lens hood. So far no noticeable deterioration in the quality of additional refractions!
