Although the glass has a purple tint, the colors of the images are accurate and unchanged compared to without a filter. However, the lens flare is purple. I bought this to protect the front lens element rather than to protect the UV filtering. It's nice and slim, allows my Fujifilm lens cap to be attached.

I screwed the UV filter onto my Canon EOS 650D with ease. Great pictures taken with it. You can see the difference!

I bought this filter to replace a damaged one. I had a good time and bought the same brand. The filter seems well made to me and the pleasant surprise of the knurling. I've always had the problem of not being able to grip when my hands are cold.

In this case, the UV filter mainly fulfills the function of mechanically protecting the lens. He does it well and I didn't expect more. I can't assess the glass values and optical data.

This filter has been fitted to a Lumix 14-140mm M 4/3 lens and chosen to protect the lens. After practicing with and without a mount for comparison and in different shooting situations, I have not noticed any impact on the base quality of my lens. I am delighted with this purchase at a very reasonable price.

Admittedly, this filter comes at a very reasonable price. But on the other hand, it does its job perfectly. It protects the sensor from UV rays that burn the colors in the photos. You can see the result in my photos without retouching. I am completely satisfied. The blue sky isn't gray anymore, that's great.
