Purchased this camera to solve the mystery of what was getting into our chicken coop. Mounted it to one of the coop walls using the enclosed mount (which is very handy). This thing is a battery hog (8AAs if you want the extended duration). Set it to video only mode (like that it gives you the options to go with video only, video and photo or photo only). The next day we were super pleased at the quality of the video and it did capture our intruder (a ground hog) not to mention several mice. Sorry to not have included some stills of the video or pics (too rushed to do so). Just pop the micro SD out of the camera and into the laptop for review. Overall, it was pretty simple to use and does the job very well. Only pet peeve is that the switch to turn it on or off requires you to open case and get under the cam to find it but a small trade off for making it water resistant. Have only had it for about 3 mos so cant speak to its longevity or durability in weather but did what I needed it to.

We ordered this camera following some property damage that was occurring to the kids play set. My husband was obsessed with figuring what animal was responsible. He installed it and easily camouflaged it as despite this cancer being good sized as it is designed to be invisible. It is also very easy to set up and use. Unfortunately we never figured out what was responsible as he sprayed and did some other things to prevent any more damage, but we did get a look at some of the images and they are impressive. Even in the dark and the rain, the images this camera takes are very clear. It is battery powered and the manufacturer was kind enough to provide them. We are constantly having little issues where we have to deal with critters, so I can se us using this a lot in the future.

So far it is EXACTLY what I needed. Easy to use once you read all the instructions. Takes a mini-SD card so be aware you will need a mini SD adapter to put the SD card and view on your computer. Which I highly recommend. Pics can be viewed directly on trail cam also but the screen is small to see the great details of the animals. Takes great night time black and white photos and videos, and great daytime color pictures and videos. Can be adjusted to take either pics or video or both, and settings changed to take more or less photos/ videos to save batteries or SD card space as needed. These pics attached are on default picture quality, it can be sharpened if you want even more detailed pictures.
We are NOT HUNTERS. We bought this as we are trying to catch a feral cat living in a neighborhood park to get her spayed. We have been putting the camera in different locations with food and water to see where she hangs out. Watching the other animals in the park come and look into the camera (skunks, possums) has been great entertainment, even if we haven't caught our elusive female stray yet. This works very well.

We've had a lot of our plants eaten overnight so I wanted to see who the culprits are. This camera has done exactly what I wanted - revealing a young Kangaroo coming in after dark & having a good feed.
The camera is so good I have bought a second one so I can cover the front & rear gardens every night. Possums are the other culprits I believe so hoping to catch them at it !
