We use the borescope quite a bit in our auto shop where we work mainly on GMC, Audi and Merc.
Hard to reach/examine areas are a daily routine for us, so we were finally looking for a borescope. We bought one on a budget that generated a wifi access point, and you had to use a homegrown app on a phone to have a display. This one ended up in the trash within a few days.
Further down the road, we found this one....
It's not every day you find a borescope where you can turn the tip remotely with a wheel. And for less than 300€ or so....
This unit has all the bells and whistles you want in an endoscope. Great image quality, ample light, SD memory, 1080p HD resolution and long battery life.
So, while you're still thinking about the price.... Rest assured, there is very little competition to match this offering.

This is a high quality instrument with excellent image quality.
First of all, the kit includes a very nice, snug-fitting protective case, which is always a plus, especially for equipment of this type.
The endoscope is easy to use, the menu system and user interface are simple and straightforward. It comes complete with a 32 gigabyte memory card (installed) and fully charged so you can use it right away.
No USB charger is included, but a standard USB-A to micro charging cable is included.
It charges from any standard 5-volt USB power source, so you have many options, including charging from a notebook or computer. It can be charged and used at the same time - which is another plus.
I found the picture quality to be excellent. The five-inch IPS screen is bright and detailed.
I own several inspection cameras of this type, and this one has by far the best image quality.
It takes 1920 x 1080 photos (full HD quality) and records 1280 x 720 video on the included 32GB micro SD card. (It supports memory cards up to 64 GB).
The most outstanding feature of this range is the ability to control the direction of the camera's probe.
This is a real game changer. If you've ever wrestled with a scope without articulation to get it where you need it, you know what I'm talking about. It's always frustrating and sometimes just impossible to get where you need to go. The 210 degree (on a plane) swivel probe solves that problem. With a combination of the probe's directional control and rotating the gooseneck cable, you can reach places that would be impossible with a non-moving scope. The probe is 5 feet long, which covers most inspection tasks.
Another interesting feature is that you can stream the image or video to another device via wifi, although I found the screen on this to be so good that you wouldn't need to do that to get a better look, but it is a nice feature to be able to do this to share what you see with others.
This has all the features you would expect from a top notch inspection camera, you can flip the image to get a proper "heads up" view, the probe LEDs can be dimmed or turned off completely. As I mentioned earlier, it captures both still images and video, date stamps the images, and more ... Another great feature is that when you record video, you also record audio - so you can take verbal notes on what you're watching to refer back to later.
The user manual is a small 3-1/2" x 5" Booklet with only 6 pages. It is written in an understandable manner and contains all the information you need. As I mentioned earlier, the user interface is simple so you don't need a book or an engineering degree to use it.
I am thrilled with this device. It is technically advanced and well thought out. Fit and finish are top notch, the controls work well, and the screen is fantastic compared to most. Sure, you can find cheaper devices, but this definitely proves that you get what you pay for - a quality tool that's fun to use.

For the price, unbeatable!
This is the most affordable moving head endoscope.
Image quality good.
Screenshots and videos are stored on micro SD like digital camera (included).
Brightness adjustable in four levels.
Image transfer via Wifi to iPhone works.

The possibility to steer the camera extends the range of application very positively.
I use the device to inspect cavities in the plumbing and heating area without leaving damage to
tiles, etc.

Really great part. It's the second device, before that I had a similar one which I unfortunately broke (my fault).
It's almost the same, only this one has a slightly more robust housing and stepless LED brightness control.
The resolution is really great. As an example with a banknote, because it has many small details.
I have the camera to make work easier. The camera can be guided better through the semi-rigid cable than the cheaper USB cameras with the flexible cable.
Positive points:
- battery exchange possible with a bit of skill
- infinitely variable brightness adjustment possible
- good picture quality
- SD card included
- video recording possible
- dual camera view
- useful settings in the menu
- lithium battery can be charged via power bank
neutral:
- the charging port and the SD port could still be protected with a rubber cap, since the device is certainly often used in a dirty, dusty, damp environment.
The cable is 5m long, but I can't imagine ever needing the whole 5m, let alone being able to push it that far, especially around several curves I think this will be a bit difficult for anyone who has ever pulled in cables know what i'm talking about. The case has rubber plugs on the side, so the device could survive one or the other higher fall.
The case opens easily with a small Phillips screwdriver, and the 18650 lithium-ion cell can be easily replaced should the battery fail, or the cell can be replaced with another with a higher capacity.
