The tripod's height is impressive and can be extended with the option to add extra weight at the center of gravity to make it even more secure.

Preface: Hello friends, I have been involved in photography for about 2 years now and this has also become my daily hobby. That's why I wanted to improve my existing equipment. In the beginning I had a tripod for 20€ and I gained my initial experience with it. Like many of you, I too wanted more possibilities and more comfort in photography. Now I would like to describe my experiences and the differences for a €20 tripod for beginners. So you can have your own idea if a more expensive tripod is worth it for you. Quality and differences for cheap tripods: After the product arrived I noticed the first difference, the material of the bag was a little thicker and of superior quality. After unpacking the tripod, I assessed the finish and how much play the tripod had. I have absolutely nothing to complain about the processing of metals and this is at a very high level. Some plastic elements show that not everything is perfectly processed. Compared to my cheap tripod, the legs can be unfolded individually, which in my opinion gives me a lot more options. The spherical head can also be adjusted much easier, more specifically and, above all, more comfortably than on my cheap head. Here I have to adjust 2 axes separately with the lever, which gets a bit annoying in the long run. What fascinated me most, however, was the possibility of turning the tripod around and getting very close to the ground. Such possibilities are usually not offered with cheap tripods. So I can finally take calm macro shots and take pictures from completely new perspectives. Furthermore, the dimensions of the packaging were decisive for my purchase, as I would like to use them on trips. The accessory that screws onto the camera has a very nice rubber coating with a profile so that the camera doesn't rotate by itself even if it is rotated 90° on the tripod and is equipped with a large lens (some of you probably know this). Due to the compact size, K&F has also created a solution for windy days, because this tripod is equipped with a hook at the lower end of the neck, to which you can attach your bag or similar. Overall, I see many advantages in this tripod compared to tripods in the lower price range:

Even though I didn't know the brand at first, but there are several tripods of it on Amazon, I decided to give everything a chance. And I must say I was not disappointed!

Lightweight... stiff enough and closes quickly. Just a little low

Replacing my 20 year old tripod with this 255c2; it compacts very well and is a little bigger than my old one! How it will turn out, time will tell!

I needed a compact, lightweight tripod that I could take with me to work that involved traveling by train or plane. As soon as I took it out of the box, I could see that this tripod would make a good compact option for travel. It's light (weighs only 1.13 kg), folds very small (46.5 cm) and even comes with its own carrying bag (which my Manfrotto doesn't have). This tripod comes with a ball head - a different system of maneuvering the camera than I'm used to. I think I can always consider replacing the ball head on this tripod with a 3-way system for future use. The build quality of the K&F Concept tripod is what I would call decent but not groundbreaking but in this price range. You don't get carbon fiber or other premium materials; instead, you get a magnesium-aluminum alloy and a plastic frame. A fully extended camera can be mounted at 156 cm, which is not the highest height, but I don't think a tripod marketed as a compact is among the tallest on the market. However, 156cm is probably big enough for most situations. The tripod's center column can be inverted for macro photography. Like every tripod I've ever used, the K&F Concept Tripod has a quick-release plate system, which involves mounting a plate to the bottom of the camera. I liked how the tripod is small and light to take with me. I have to take a lot of gear on set, so it's always good to lighten the load a bit. However, due to the light weight, I wouldn't say this tripod holds up well in windy outdoor conditions when shooting landscapes. It works well for my main uses and the carrying case is a very useful addition. For the price, it's certainly a decent option for a photographer who travels a lot.

I don’t like to take my big gear when I travel, and I get nice photo performance out of my GX7, And with this tripod I can travel super light now. Hiking those 14ers with less than 3lbs of photo gear is going to be AMAZING! I could probably take my Sony Alpha 6300 instead with a zoom lens if I needed some reach.I wouldnt recommend big dslrs for this tripod. Stick to mirrorless or point and shoot.

I've been using this KF concept tripod for about a month now. Man, I love that tripod! It's lighter, cheaper. The only thing I liked best about the Benro was that the legs felt quicker, but I have a feeling those guys will probably see this review and consider making some tweaks there. Only you need more turns to loosen/tighten the legs. Not a big deal, but a faster tripod is more fun. Everything was a little stiff at first, but now everything is nice and fluid. Beautiful and robust even in the wind. I love it and recommend it.

What makes this tripod most valuable is it's light weight, compactness and portability. It's not my favorite tripod I own, but it's my favorite tripod to grab and go or travel with. Compared to traditional tripods, this thing is half the carry size and way lighter.LIKES:-Size!!! It's so compact and has no bulk. Easy to stash away.-Weight. Very light and easy to carry.-Small but highly functional camera mount. -Ball head locks super tight with a simple thumb lever. -360* panoramic head with separate tightening knob-Nice carry case with interior pocket.DISLIKES:-A little unstable, especially at small bottom legs, at full expansion-Not a big fan of twist thread locks on the legs. Personal preference of thumb latches.-Fold down arm locks are the pull out/push in type. Prefer the push release ones.-All the moving mechanisms are a little stiff, but i think they'll work in nicely.OVERALL:Perhaps a little nit-picky to give it 4 stars. If you're looking for the most compact and light weight full size tripod, this is 5 stars! But it just lacks some 5 star features and overall quality, but it is right there and a great tripod!
Situationally great tripod! Compact and light. Situationally great tripod! Compact and light. Situationally great tripod! Compact and light. Situationally great tripod! Compact and light.
