Reviews said it could handle a Sigma 600 which is specifically why I bought this one. Not quite true. With a Sigma 600, the ball joint will droop, especially when lens is tilted more than 30 degree up.

Excellent carbon fiber tripod that folds up nicely. Very lightweight but still sturdy. Excellent for travel.

They cheaped out on the plastic leg extension locking sleeve inserts. Tightening screw came off too lightly glued mount. Legs extended out the shaft breaking the too britle insert.Little glue and time I repaired it. And I like it.

This is for light duty use. Easy to carry and setup. The complaint I have is the ball head is small. the clamps that holds the adapter plate is very small and not to be trusted to carry your camera on the tripod.

Overall I really liked the tripod. It is well made and easy to use. The size I ordered was too small for my height, so I had to test it with the legs fully extended. When I put my Sony 600mm lens on the tripod, the lowest parts of the thin carbon fiber legs warped outward slightly and there was an elasticity to the performance of the legs. Touching the camera caused several seconds of vibrations amplifying from the ends of the legs up to the camera.
This might not be a serious issue if I had ordered a long enough tripod that I would only occasionally fully extend the legs.
I am returning this tripod and purchasing a 79inch aluminum one instead. Hopefully that will not vibrate as much.
