Mounted on a telephoto zoom so can't tell if there are vignette issues in the wide angle or not. Threads are aluminum. Keep this in mind if you don't like aluminum threads on filters.

There is nothing to complain about. The quality is great and doesn't affect the picture at all.

The filter is nice and flat, the glass is impeccable. The screw thread fits perfectly into the lens thread and the lens cap grips easily. I could not determine any distortion of the colors in comparison shots. I use it to protect the front lens; I hope he lives up to his intended task.

bought the 77mm version of this filter to protect my Olympus 300mm Pro lens. While doing bird photography in Ecuador, I had problems with this lens. All photos were blurred. I had used the lens 2 weeks earlier and the images were crisp. I had to throw away a whole day's work because every picture was bad. I put the lens away for the rest of the trip thinking the lens was going bad. I got home and started testing the lens. I noticed that with the filter, all the images were blurry. So I removed the filter and all the images came out crisp. So be very careful when using this filter at least on Olympus cameras and lenses. I've since put on a B+W filter and it works flawlessly.
