I ordered the filter because I wanted to try the universally acclaimed cinematic look. Photographically, this is a replica of the look that was once created on analogue film (i.e. carrier layer and emulsion). With today's digital cameras, this is achieved by using a diffuser that burns out the lights a little. This also softens fine structures a little.

The Kentfaith filter easily screws into the lens filter thread. The filter glass, which looks very clear at first glance, develops its effect particularly in bright lights. The edges are softer and the light shines more clearly into the otherwise darker areas. The overall picture is a little softer and more comfortable. A good look is achieved, especially when recording videos. The photos of the lamp are once with and once without a filter.

Conclusion: Great look when recording videos. Here you really think you've used a real film. I have now also ordered the filter for my other lenses with different diameters. I like the effect on videos. But I prefer my photos to be crisp and sharp.

The effect, while subtle on its own, looks very nice and balanced. In comparison, without a filter. Long exposures of nocturnal scenes (city / architecture) or Christmas markets, bridges, rows of lights, etc. I imagine very well with it.
The shine is also nice and even and looks natural. I like it.

First impression, therefore, absolutely positive.
For the called 37 euros, that's a snap.

For the hobby area, if you use it in photography from time to time, a no-brainer, imho.
I don't shoot videos, that would certainly be worth a separate test to see what the cinematic community thinks about it.
great, subtle effect, great value for money! great, subtle effect, great value for money!

I've been taking photos as a hobby for several decades, first analogue, then of course almost exclusively digital for 15 years, i.e. I've seen and tried out a number of photo accessories over the years. With the filter I bought here, three things were decisive. 1. The quality, I've spent too much money unnecessarily on useless photo accessories 2. The price, I don't see an point in spending more money which you don't see in the photos afterwards anyway 3. The durability and expansion of a plug-in filter system Attached Image with the graduated gray filter All points speak for this product. The filters are quickly attached, make a stable impression and are supplied in a practical case. The plug-in filter system is more than useful for the hobby photographer. In any case, I wouldn't want to be without it in my photo bag. I can't understand the fact that the filters are difficult to insert, which is often criticized here, on the contrary I even find this important because otherwise the filter could quickly fall through. After more than half a year and several sessions, I can only say about the durability of the filters, so far nothing has been scratched or even broken. Conclusion: Anyone who takes pictures knows that this hobby can sometimes cost a lot of money, and often with this hobby it really is so; "If you buy cheap, you buy twice". However, I don't have the impression with this product that the more expensive competitors, who also offer plug-in filter systems, do it so much better that the surcharge would be worth it here. That's why I can only recommend this system
Value for money is great, I would buy again

The filter has the dimensions of 10x 10cm, weighs 47.5gr and is 2mm thick, so it matches the filter holder of the same company. It is made of anti-reflective glass and allows to eliminate the noise due to artificial lights (i.e. the yellow part that appears at the bottom in the photographs of the Milky Way, due to the artificial lights of the city). The difference without the filter is remarkable, in fact even with a good post production process, the artificial light remains, while with the filter it is completely cut off. In the case of long exposures for the Milky Way, the amount of light captured by the sensor decreases slightly but the raw output is rich in information and allows you to recover the Milky Way and all the starry sky. It is possible to remedy this (i.e. capture more light) by using a star tracker or by taking more shots (in my case, without star tracker, with a f2.8 at 11mm, the maximum time for not obtaining the movement of the stars is 30 seconds). Even in the city it does its job by eliminating that yellowish gradient in the sky and bringing out the beauty of the night lights.
A must have for night photographers A must have for night photographers

I've been toying with the idea of buying a gradient filter for a long time, although the prices from Nisi, Haida, etc., around 150 euros, have always put me off. Then I came across the filters from K&F, because the filters were reasonably priced, I ordered them. The extremely beautiful and high-quality packaging should also be emphasized. Here you get an imitation leather case that is lined with fine fabric on the inside and has 2 magnetic buttons incorporated. This case is again in a nice padded cardboard box, very valuable and stable so I wasn't really disappointed. Filter holder: First of all, it has to be said that you need a filter holder system for the filters, which costs around €25 at K&F. This is well made and serves its purpose. Here comes the filter holder in a padded cardboard box. The scope of delivery includes the filter holder and 8 adapters in the size 49mm - 82mm. So I'm already looking forward to going out into nature with the filter to test it. The adapter ring is screwed onto the lens thread and the holder is simply mounted on the ring with a snap mechanism. The mount holds securely and doesn't give me any concerns that it might not hold even with minimal play. The optical quality of the gradient filter is great! I didn't notice any loss in image quality and there's no distortion or vignetting. Furthermore, I could not detect any color impairments or other color distortions. The filter does what it is supposed to do, it easily darkens an overexposed sky and saves me a lot of work in post-processing. Conclusion Since I haven't worked with ND filters before, I don't know what I could complain about here. Overall, I am very satisfied with the glasses from K&F. You get a high-quality, processed filter with top optical quality and a good scope of delivery (artificial leather case). For the price of around €89, it doesn't need to hide behind the other brands. I will soon buy more glasses from K&F.

Of course, in preparation for our round trip, we also needed a good filter system. We spent months reading, getting information, watching and comparing videos. In the end we decided on this system. And that was a great decision! There are definitely better systems out there, but also for a lot more money. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether a hobby photographer really needs it.
With this system, we are talking about real glass - not plastic! The glass is not colored but coated, so there are no distortions or blurring at the edges. The only drawback is that the glasses are quite difficult to slide into the holder - BUT nothing slips out and nothing slips. Perfect for quick position changes. We got used to it quickly. The results with the filter are as desired, there is nothing to complain about. We are thrilled and would choose this filter system again and again. We bought the kit with the holder including all adapter rings, the graduated filters, the 64 and the 1000 - everything was great! Have fun capturing memories!

This is straight out of the camera and hasn't been retouched. Quality is good, the stones are sharp the water is soft, all in all not a bad product.
Well made and not like the cheaper plastic ones

The filters feel high quality, can be transported well protected and do a good job. Images show very little color variation and remain sharp. Basically, I find the price for these filters quite high, but I have not yet dealt with the manufacturing costs of these filters. As far as use is concerned, I can only give a clear purchase recommendation here.
great quality

the quality of these filters seems to be on par with others (more expensive ones). The course is clean and evenly straight. The very well thought-out pockets, with their pull-out tab, offer fingerprint-free handling. Clear purchase recommendation on my part...!!!
