Holding the DSLRs for a long time is uncertain, but the listed cameras performed flawlessly, so I’m not deducting any points.Important Notes: • Not MagSafe-compatible: Magnet array may interfere with phone sensors (gyro, compass); avoid using with mobile phones. • Surface matters: Magnetic grip varies by material—mild steel offers strong hold, while painted or galvanized surfaces reduce strength. • Flash triggering limitations: Older xenon slave flashes only respond to xenon triggers even from a point-and-shoot cameras, but sadly not from LED phone flashes. • Caution: Due to its strong magnetic field, it may corrupt data if older hard disk drives come into close proximity. • Weight limit: Safely supports up to 400g; heavier devices risk falling. My Nissin i40(350g) flash worked without any issues.
