A medium weight tripod at a low price with lots of extras
I’m giving it five stars for a tripod in this low price range. It is very versatile and comes with lots of extra features. This tripod is way sturdier than those flimsy little tripods that are only meant for use with mobile phones. It is plastic, but feels heavy and sturdy enough to hold a DSLR with an average lens. I was hoping to use it with my SeeStar S30 Smart Telescope, but it is barely sturdy enough for that. I definitely would not put a Seestar S50 on it.The legs lock into three different positions - the widest one being all the way out at 90°. At first this seems silly and useless, but the legs extended independently, so if you were, for instance, on the side of a cliff, you could have two legs down and the third at 90° up against the cliff. This is really handy and a great design. It comes with lots of extras like a pull-out monopod (one of the legs), a mobile phone holder, and a Bluetooth smartphone camera remote, which works very well.It even comes with a ball-head mount. I’m used to working with a big, heavy, sturdy ball-head mount, so this one seems flimsy to me, but it works fine. We don’t always need expensive, top-of-the-line equipment.
