My kid loves it, but there are some downsides

The good: small and light for kids, simple to turn on, simple to take a picture, good screen, easy to take a selfie, has internal storage for 50 shots, and with the memory card you can store 14,000 shots. Includes the mem card and a reader. The rechargeable battery is lithium ion. The menu allows you to adjust things like auto shutdown time, timestamp options, etc.

The bad: The built-in nonreplaceable battery lasts for about 200 shots. Picture quality is poor, video is terrible and muffled. Uses micro USB. The buttons aren't very clearly labeled and tiny thumbs push the wrong ones all the time. It's way too easy to accidentally turn on the timer, or the filters, or go into the menu. It's difficult to get out of the filters after you accidentally activate them with a button. There are games and a music option in the menu, and you can't disable or remove them. Why would you want that on a camera?

This camera gets a lot of things right but has some big downsides. I wish the battery lasted longer. I wish it wasn't so easy to accidentally enter the menu, timer mode, or filter mode. I wish it didn't have music and game options, or an option to disable it. I wish it were USB-C.
