Kentfaith is a brand I have been exploring with this nice unit being the second handheld camera from them i own. This neat updated unit is a bit more expensive than the other one I have as well as having accessories the other camera did not have included. This camera is better in every way with the pull out screen being clearer and easier to read. The navigation is easier as well. This is a bit larger in length but other than that it still has that super compact size that I have come to love from the Kentfaith brand.
I like how there is a remote included which makes it easy when you are making a demonstration video without any help around to assist in camera operation. The remote works great and has a lot of option for alternative recording in the solo sense.
One of the cool things abut this set is the included accessories with the plug in microphone being a standout. There is already a built in microphone that works just fine but for more detailed and better produced videos this microphone is great. It thankfully just takes one triple AAA battery that is also included. There is an on/off switch on the side of the plug in extension microphone so you have the option to cut it off and return to the built in variation at any time.
There is a large stabilizer contraption that you can screw into the bottom and therefore connect it to the slide mechanism for easy adjusting. Also included is a shutter device that adds security and focus to the camera.
There is a travel case as well as two batteries that are included. This camera set it truly jam packed with stuff to assure to are able to jump right into filming what you want. The resulting videos look great with the color option being just as neat as the black and white option available in the settings.
The charge time is quick with the initial one taking a few hours to fully fill. I think this took about two hours give or take a few minutes.
This camera is great for traveling in that you can carry it around with you in a side bag without it feeling like a burden.
