This mostly works and the part that I think might not work could be because there's something I'm not quite understanding. That said, instructions could be a little bit more explicit. But as usual these days pretty bare bones.

I tried to program it for automatic open and closing at specific times and I cannot get that to work. Nothing happens at designated time once set. What I did notice happened three times is that at the end of setting the door closed time the door opened part way and then closed twice, and the third time I set the door closed time the door went from completely close to completely open and stayed there.

Holding door open button will get it to open, holding the door closed button eventually we will get it to close but at least one time it completely closed then open two inches and then completely closed again.

Using the setting for opening with light and closing when the light goes away seems to work fine. The only thing is when it goes to close it'll close all the way and then open 2 inches and then close again. Maybe there's a reason for that that I'm not aware of. There is a little bit of a delay for when the light is removed before it starts to close which is a good programming.

I tried it with both solar power and battery and both work.
