I've tested about 50 games accross various consoles it has, though it is a small amount compared with 5,000 games in total, but I played a solid 24 hours combined. So far I haven't noticed any slowdown or issues, except for a few games not in English.

From a parent of 3 kids perspective this device is perfect for getting children between the ages (5-8) familiar with handheld gaming/gaming in general. Not to mention the price of this device compared to say a Xbox, PS4/5, Nintendo switch… isn’t even close. Yes you won’t be able to play any of the newer games but if you’re on the budget this could work great!
As a 90’s baby myself game boy/ Nintendo / Atari / arcade games/ etc. were my childhood! So being able to see my kids get to experience the same games in a very similar way is something I never expected to be so easy to do!

Plus you can hook up the device to wifi, bluetooth controllers, and it even has a mini hdmi port on top of the device as well. So if you went and bought a mini hdmi to hdmi adapter you can hook this bad boy straight up to the TV pair controllers and play multiplayer with your friends and family! (Nothing is more entertaining that watching your 5 and 7 year old try and learn how to play Mario Cart on the Nintendo 64 on the 65” TV in the living room)

All in all I absolutely love this little thing and couldn’t be happier with the purchase!
