The only modification I made was a slide felt for cupboards, glued to the holder and cut out so that the first filter lays tight :)

As the title says... Great metal filter holder. Excellent packaging, K&f proves that it is a company that paints materials of excellent quality, no longer an alternative to the most famous filters, but first class! Recommended

small disclaimer: I'm not an ND1000 filter person, I find their water/cloud smoothing effect mostly unnecessary and overdone, overused and overpowered (and many more overs). I said that I need a little more than ND64 every now and then, so I decided to give this KF a try, especially since it came in at 40 EUR with a Black Friday discount. I didn't expect miracles and was prepared for severe color casts. It turned out better than I expected. With this filter there are obvious color casts (photo 1) and to all the claims of "I don't see any cast" all I can say is turn off the AWB please how else can you talk about color casts seriously?! but with the WB adjustment it corrects (photo 2) very close to original colors without this ND1000 (photo 3). Correction scale: 5000K->7200K and 0->+35 magenta in Lightroom. As expected, the sharpness for a wide-angle lens (35 mm) is perfectly fine. I do notice more vignetting (both lenses have the same degree of lens correction), which I'm not sure how to explain, but I personally don't mind, some in landscape shots. Overall I'm pretty happy. It's a cheap alternative to brands already known for heavy blue casts (love your ND graduates, Lee, but your Big Stopper is pure and simple a blue filter, period) and for casual use, you really can't do more expect

Very good value for money. It is a high quality product that protects the filters well and can be removed perfectly.

The filter is cleanly worked, the tint is absolutely even and without streaks. I am very happy with my choice of this filter.

bought the filter bag to have all the filters at hand more quickly and not to have to search for them, and to save space. The bag is of high quality and fits perfectly for 100x100mm filters. A total of three (theoretically four) different filters can be stowed in it. So it is perfect for a standard ND filter set (8,64,1000). The inside of the bag is completely lined with microfiber so that the filters can be transported in it without additional protection. As a smart feature, it has a pull-out mechanism. This means that when you open the bag and pull the tab, all the filters are offset and highlighted so that you can grab them much better and read the label directly. I bought another glass filter at the same time - ND64. Since I already own an ND8 from another brand and the ND1000 from K&F, this was of course still missing in the series. Overall, I am super satisfied with the quality of K&F. The filters (update 2020) have almost no color cast anymore. In certain light situations, my ND64 filter turns green. However, this can be corrected without major problems during image processing. The shape of the filter (no round filter) also means that there are no problems with vignetting or falling sharpness. The images are therefore almost unaffected in terms of image quality. The processing is top (no sharp edges, stains, etc.) and the price speaks for itself. All in all, I'm very happy with the entire filter system from K&F and will probably get hold of the gradient filters soon!

Very nicely packaged, does the job but a bit tricky to apply until you get the hang of it. No easy fit Shame otherwise would be 5*
Good results but difficult to match

I've been toying with the idea of buying a graduated filter for a long time, although the prices from Nisi, Haida, etc., around 150 euros, have always put me off. Then I came across the filters from K&F, because the filters were reasonably priced, I ordered them. The extremely beautiful and high-quality packaging should also be emphasized. Here you get an imitation leather case that is lined with fine fabric on the inside and has 2 magnetic buttons incorporated. This case is again in a nice padded cardboard box, very valuable and stable so I wasn't really disappointed. Filter holder: First of all, it has to be said that you need a filter holder system for the filters, which costs around €25 at K&F. This is well made and serves its purpose. Here comes the filter holder in a padded cardboard box. The scope of delivery includes the filter holder and 8 adapters in the size 49mm - 82mm. So I'm already looking forward to going out into nature with the filter to test it. The adapter ring is screwed onto the lens thread and the holder is simply mounted on the ring with a snap mechanism. The mount holds securely and doesn't give me any concerns that it might not hold even with minimal play. The optical quality of the gradient filter is great! I didn't notice any loss in image quality and there's no distortion or vignetting. Furthermore, I could not detect any color impairments or other color distortions. The filter does what it is supposed to do, it easily darkens an overexposed sky and saves me a lot of work in post-processing. Conclusion Since I haven't worked with ND filters before, I don't know what I could complain about here. Overall, I am very satisfied with the glasses from K&F. You get a high-quality, processed filter with top optical quality and a good scope of delivery (artificial leather case). For the price of around €89, it doesn't need to hide behind the other brands. I will soon buy more glasses from K&F.
