We use this at our off grid chicken coop /greenhouse area, works perfect! We are currently letting it run on WiFi and it’s really far from the house and working perfectly fine, we do have strong WiFi, but it’s capable of 4G LTE if needed, the videos are amazingly clear, catches everything (hawks sometimes-it will notify but hard to tell the image of a hawk because of their speed), has a super bright spotlight at night, solar powered panel, stays at 100% full almost always, easy to install, setup was fast and super easy! Exactly what we needed! Highly recommended to all!!!!Last video is about mid way from the house to the coop we are running on WiFi never had a problem so far! Glad we have that option of WiFi or LTE cell carrier connect if needed ( does cost extra for the 4G lte connect through your cell provider). The only thing it does not come with is the micro memory card keep that in mind, I would recommend purchasing at the same time it will ask for one at setup.
So far it’s caught a raccoon, hawk twice, and a possum , thanks Kentfaith happy customer

Awesome video quality (first line, ditto...in a couple years 4k will suck :D ).

I think the product name implies this is a solar-only camera. It‘s not. The connection between the panel and the camera is just USB-C so when the panel dies, you don't have to do anything special (though by then those sweet 8Ks will be out and you'll just trash this one).

Installation is very easy. Just 6 screws total.

I‘ve used another competitor's cameras for years now, but wanted something that had higher quality video and images. I decided on this Kentfaith camera because I had heard good things about their cameras, plus I own other Kentfaith products.
This camera really didn't disappoint. I installed this on brick exterior, on the North side of my home. The reason I am pointing this out is because unfortunately, the solar panel doesn't do a lot of good for me because my house and surrounding homes block the sun from reaching the panel. Installing the panel on any other side of my house would have made a big difference, but that doesn't help when I need it installed in the front. This is no fault of the product, it just hinders me from being able to fully utilize the panel, which was a feature I was really excited to use.

The video quality is nice. Much better than the other brand I was using before this. Night vision works well and with the neighborhood lights, it looks like daytime sometimes when it's night. That's how good you can still see things. This camera gives me reassurance, especially since there has been high activity of break-ins in my area recently.

I also appreciate the SIM card that is included in case my internet goes down. I know when I'm not at home that I can always be sure the camera is on and working.

Overall very satisfied with this product!

Received the camera in excellent shape. Opened the box and went through the configuration up to the step where the camera should connect to the cellular network - where it wouldn‘t read the QR code on my phone. Restarted the process several times, and even tried joining the WiFi network, but no dice. Let it charge overnight and tried again, but still no luck. Called customer support and went through the process again, they suggested trying the Kentfaith app on a tablet with a bigger screen, and if it didn't work then I should return it. I tried it on the tablet and again the camera would not connect to either the cellular or WiFi network (it wouldn't read the QR code on the tablet either). I am returning this one and will re-order another to see if the problem persists. I'll update my review after I get the replacement.
April 25 update. Received the replacement camera and successfully got it set up. I had the same problem and learned you can reset the camera by pressing and holding the SYNC button for 8 seconds. I was able to get it to join my WiFi network first. Tried to get it on the cellular network but had issues again. Finally set the camera in the window with flat side up and was able to get it to connect to cellular after another 8-second reset. I think my problem was that I was setting it up on my desk with the flat surface down (camera upside down) and that was blocking the internal antenna. The first unit was probably fine, the meat-machine interface (namely me) was the issue for doing it wrong. Lessons learned: do the setup with the camera right-side-up, and if you have problems press the SYNC button for 8 seconds to do a reset. (The 8 second trick is not documented). Looks like we'll be in good shape, I am a satisfied customer

This is a great camera that stands up to all of the hype and performs exactly like it’s supposed to very happy with it and will probably buy another one

Works better than expected. Got this camera to keep watch on livestock. The area has spotty cell service but so far the camera has worked. Occasionally have it spool but generally can retry the connection and it will work. Easy to install and setup.
