It works, and it's really versatile, because it has a swivel. I like having the options of multiple nds without having to change out nd filters in the field. But I don't need it to go up this high most of the time

just got this variable ND filter, and my first impression is that it’s made of good quality materials. The titanium coating feels durable, and it doesn’t seem like it’ll scratch easily. I also like how it avoids the partial yellow issue, which was something I worried about before buying. The true color results are a big plus for me. The 1-9 stops of light reduction are great for controlling exposure. It’s easy to adjust for slower shutter speeds or a shallower depth of field, which gives more creative options for photos and videos. The glare-free surface works well too—I haven’t noticed any annoying reflections so far. The price point was a big reason I chose this over another, more expensive option. It’s slightly cheaper, but it still feels like it does everything I need. For anyone considering this, just make sure to check your lens size since this one is for 49mm lenses. You’ll also need a 52mm lens cap if you don’t have one. I’ll keep using it and update this review if anything changes, but so far, I’m happy with my purchase!

Very good range of ND stop ranges. The color is still decent and the contrast is less pronounced. Lenses longer than 70mm (full frame) there's no cross-shapped shadow on the darker settings but a very noticeable dark cross on my 35mm. I do wish there was an adjustment mark on both sides of the lens so I could see where my range is set.

Among many K&F Concept variable ND filters, the NANO-K series is perhaps at very low end of the price range. I do a LED light reflection test for all filters. The K series variable ND filter is in blue color, which is not good. The picture color shift is very obvious, and for me it is almost unusable. Now, this is a true color variable ND filter, though it is still a NANO-K series filter. The LED light test makes a green color, similar to some true color ND filters from other manufacturers. And there is almost no color shift, so it is very usable. For people prefer K&F filters, it is good enough, but if you like to try other true color variable ND filters for some less-known brands, and at the similar prices, you might find better ones.

really like this filter. It feels like a good quality filter and the optics look great with long exposure photos. I like that it can replace multiple filters and saves me from lugging around a bunch of extra camera gear. The filter itself feels like a high quality piece of kit. I am pretty happy with it.

K&F is one of my favorite camera lens filter makers. The filters always deliver with quality and clarity that a good photographer needs to produce superior results. I already knew what I was going to get because I use this same filter on my 82mm lens. This lens stops down light by up to 9 stops with minimal color loss and no drop in clarity. This is helpful when shooting in rooms that have especially large windows and bright walls on a sunny day or when standing in a park at noon with no shade. K&F always delivers, and this lens filter is no different.

am very happy with this filter. It has multiple ranges and it manages light really well. This was especially helpful in those sunny days, with the light bouncing off the body of water where I usually frequent. It gets bright in certain moments. The cloud details on the filter was much appreciated and the exposure control at certain location and angle was a blessing. This gave me additional options that I didn't have before and I appreciate that. Given its price point, you don’t have to break the bank for an ND filter.

First off, I would like to say that I have purchased several filters and devices from K&F in the past and have always been happy with their products. This variable ND filter was another well-made filter with which I was pleased. With some other brands, I have had trouble with adjusting the filter to make changes to the density of light that was allowed through. This one I found to adjust very easy, but not so much that you might bump it out of position. This 52mm filter is for use on my Canon cameras and has once again expanded the options I have available. This shows that a quality filter can be purchased for a reasonable price.
