Ok, so I wasn't sure about this, but I have found myself using this battery more than the battery my camera came with. The inclusion of the USB-C port is genius, and provides an easy way to recharge. Plus the fact that this is actually 130mAh bigger than the Nikon Z50 OEM battery is an added bonus.
It charges quickly, though I haven't tried it on various chargers to see what the time is, via USB-C. Having a backup battery is great for the times I want to record some video - and if you've done video on the Z50 you know it drains the battery pretty quickly, so you're going to end up needing a backup ANYWAY.

I try to carry as little as possible - less stuff to lose/break and less weight to lug around. The new generation of batteries that include an integrated USB-C port has been a quick and easy addition to my kit. Why carry around a separate charger when I can charge the batteries directly?
I compared this K&F version of the EN-EL25 with the SmallRig and OEM Nikon versions. All work without any issue in the z50, all are the same size and weight (1.8oz), and all appear to have the same charging capacity.
I've found that over time, some third party batteries hold less of a charge than the original Nikon batteries. To be clear, that has not been the case with either this K&F or the SmallRig versions, but I also haven't used them long enough yet to where it could be an issue.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this battery to a friend - the convenience and weight savings of being able to recharge directly, without a separate charger, is totally worth it.

This battery works well. It works perfectly fine and charging the battery is super simple and convenient. I did not run into any issues with this at all.

Not as long lasting as my other batteries but has the distinct advantage of being able to charge with a USB-C cord outside the camera without having to take a charger with me that I do not already have for my phone and can use a battery pack to charge as well.

This EN-EL25 compatible battery works with my Nikon as of Z30 August 2024
The original Nikon batteries can be charged in camera in the Nikon Z30 (which doesn't come with an external charger) These K&F Concept batteries also charge in camera.
The K&F battery also has a USB-C port for external charging , which is a significant improvement over the Nikon OEM and useful for travel etc.
The K&F includes a USB-C to USB-A cable but no plug in charger.
