I bought this for college, instead of writing notes, you can just listen to the lecture and then take notes from the recording later. The sound is excellent and setting the voice activation/mic sensitivity levels is a great feature. I'll be getting one as a gift for my girlfriend.

If you follow the settings in the insert, the recording is clear. Playback is easy too. Perfect size recorder. Comes with two pairs of headphones. Works great. I recommend it
