SKU: SKU.2129V1
Sometimes I like to mix it up in my photography. When I saw these and I knew that I had to try them out. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint. These pointed star filters created beautiful, sparkling effect in my photos. They add a particular feel of whimsy when taking pictures of my kids with holiday lights. I have a Canon Rebel T5 and found that they threaded on to my lens smoothly without a hitch. The included case and cleaning cloths were a real nice bonus!

I got the K&F Concept 77mm Star Filters Kit, which made up of 4 point, 6 point, and 8 point cross screen star filter and three cleaning cloth. These ultra slim optical glass filters are superbly constructed with an 18 layers of coating to minimize reflection and flare.
I have been quite enjoying using these filters on the lens to get these effects especially star burst on highlights on street lights at night. The 4 point filter adds just a hint of a starburst to the image while the 8 point filter causes light sources to leap right off the screen with beams of light stretching out farther.
The filters come in a nice plastic case and they look very robust and feel the same way, too. They sit on smoothly to my lenses and as of now, I have not had to deal with vignette problems at all. Image quality is maintained at a high level while there are no significant lose of sharpness or increase of aberrations.
It is surprising to achieve such wonderful creative outcomes for such a fairly low price. If you want a filter, that will not only give you a nice bokeh and add some drama and interest to your photos, then I suggest you try the K&F Concept’s 77mm Star Filter kit. An easy 5 stars!

Good value to be had here, you won’t use these for everything, but they’re good at only putting stars on hard point lighting, so you’ll have to kind of use your own creativity for when you would want to use these. They’re very clear optically, they really only add the stars and make no other changes, which is what I wanted.

K&F makes affordable quality photographer's accessories, and these star filters are one of them. As with other K&F metal filter frames have thick, easy-to-handle knurling on the edges, making them easy to screw on and off a lens. The filter allows swiveling to adjust the direction of the star points. The included case is luxurious compared to the usual plastic cases, with a leather and fabric enclosure with velcro fasteners.
In my tests, the lens has little effect on the darker portion of a night scene. It creates sharp-looking stars off highlights. The stronger the light source, the bigger the stars. Careful exposure is important; if the image is overexposed, the source lights will look overblown and fuzzy. The same is true about shooting jewelry, which can always benefit from a well-placed glint.

There are several things I like about this set, but first I'll tell you what I think of the filters.
First is that there are 3 of them to choose from, 4, 6, and 8 point, so that I have the flexibility to make the shot I desire based on the lighting situation. Next is the quality of the mounting. Several screw-filters I've used are difficult to attach resulting cross-threading or sticking. These have well cut threads that are easy to get on and off my lens. Also, and very importantly, is that the filter can be turned after it is attached so that the photographer can adjust the angle of the star points to suit the frame.
I've read that some star filters reduce the quality of the image, but I have yet to see that with these filters. With or without them, the clarity seems to remain the same to my eye. If you have a better eye for this, you may see a difference, but I cannot.
Due to weather issues I have yet to take these out at night for a full test. I've been limited to using my phone flash to see what they do to bright, pinpoint lights, so take this with a grain of salt. With a flashlight in a darkened room (not dark, darkened), the points are refracted into thin rainbows as shown in their picture of the diamond. Truly a beautiful look.
Lastly I'd like to point out the superior case they come in. It looks really good, but the most important part is that each pocket is made with a very nice material similar to my wife's yoga pants. Once folded up, it is held closed with industrial grip hook and loop (think: Velcro). Inside this case, these filters are very well protected.
I highly recommend these.

If you’re like me and love adding a little extra magic to your photos, you might want to check out the K&F Concept 77mm Star Filters Kit. This set includes three filters: 4 points, 6 points, and 8 points. They turn any light source into a starburst, making your night shots and holiday lights look super cool.
First off, the build quality is pretty solid. These filters are made with 18-layer coated optical glass, which sounds fancy, but in simple terms, it means they’re clear and durable. They’re also ultra-slim, so you won’t have to worry about vignetting (those dark corners in your photos) even on wide-angle lenses.
Using these filters is pretty straightforward. Just screw them onto your lens and you’re good to go. I’ve been using them mostly for night photography and cityscapes, and the results have been awesome. The 4-point filter is great for subtle star effects, while the 6 and 8 points add more drama and sparkle.
One thing to keep in mind is that these filters work best with strong light sources. If you’re shooting in dim conditions, the star effect might not be as pronounced. But when you’ve got streetlights, car headlights, or festive lights, these filters shine (pun intended).
Also, they come in a nice little carrying case, so you can toss them in your bag without worrying about scratches or dust.
Overall, I’d say the K&F Concept Star Filters Kit is a fun and affordable way to jazz up your photography. Whether you’re a pro or just enjoy taking pretty pictures, these filters add that extra bit of sparkle that can make your photos stand out. Happy shooting!
