Not something I will use all the time, but since I shoot music videos I like to have an arsenal of speciall effect filters to use when the time is right. These star filters are actually pretty nice, and have the typical criss cross pattern on the glass which causes starbursts when pointing at the right lighting. I like that there are different strengths, as that can be very helpful achieving the desired effect. Glass is clear, except for the effect crossings, and filter threads are smooth. Overall not a bad set of star filters.

This is my second set of K&F filters, the first being the 1/4 Black Diffusion + Variable CPL, which I am also quite happy with, see my review on that product page for my thoughts.
The image attached is taken with 1/4 K&F Black Diffusion+1/4 Generic Black Diffusion (1/2 effective) and the 4 Star Burst filter from this pack. Superb combination that gives a very unique & cinematic vibe, wouldn't hesitate to recommend for anyone that's looking to take their evening photos to new levels. Honestly, FX filters like bursts are overlooked in many cases and can give you really unique looks. Throw in a Diffusion and you have a superb combo that spices up what would be an otherwise bland image.

I haven't taken any sharpness test images, but for me, the filters work very well and deliver what they promise. The example image was taken on an A7iv with the 55mm 1.8 Zeiss lens. I'm satisfied.

The filters work great for nighttime photos with artificial lighting.
Be careful not to take bright objects that are too small, otherwise the stars will be harder to see.

Great effects with these stars.
Example 1 is just a star filter.
