This lens worked perfectly for taking pictures of the solar eclipse. My husband took some amazing pictures. Definitely not disappointed. I highly recommend it!

This filter is definitely dark! I wanted it for the 2024 eclipse, unfortunately I was in a cloud-covered region and couldn't get the shot. I will probably still use it for some creative solar photography in the future, but it is a very specialized filter. It's well made, fits well on my lens, and worth the money for anyone that's an avid eclipse follower.

I purchased this for the reason of taking pictures of the solar eclipse in 2024. It worked as it should and I can certainly say that I do not have any issues with my Canon cameras after using it on the solar eclipse. So, I'm happy with the one time ever purchase and usage.

For photographers that like to take daytime pictures with longer exposures this filter will help to darken the shot allow for longer shutter speeds.

I didn’t go blind nor did I fry my equipment when I used this during the eclipse or to take sunspot pictures during the aurora.

Used it for the eclipse, worked great. However didn't think about it being too dark when it's eclipsed all the way and couldn't see it with the camera. Had to take lens back off real fast. Great product, but definitely figure out how dark you want it. Also comes out whitish, not the standard green you always see. Which I love

Got this ahead of the last eclipse but have since found it works well for other photos I take with my mirrorless. I recommended this lens to my in-laws as well.

With 20 stops, it worked great protecting my camera. This was super dark and sometimes hard to find the sun, but this was my 1st time using a filter, and it help me get some great shots in the end! I played around with it before the eclipse and one time I did have problems unscrewing it and a little freak out moment.
