My Grandson is 7 years old. An inquisitive kid that loves nature and it fits his needs. It's fairly easy to use and he had it figured out quickly. It works great. I kinda like it myself.

So I *definitely* got this for the kids. This is one of the neatest learning toys I have came across! It is very user friendly, and didn't take long at all to figure out the controls. We had so much fun nature hunting outside to find things to look at. We found this more fun than exploring the included slides. The maginification is decent. It is very clear and neat to bring the tiny things into focus. It does get a bit grainy in the highest maginification, but nothing too crazy. It is easy to carry around and holds comfortably for littles and bigs. I was honestly amazed at how clear the imaging was on the little screen in the 2-300x range. My big gripe is when I tried to pull the little green plastic sticker from the screen, the screen itself almost pulled out, so I worry about long term durability. But it's a non issue if you just leave it on. Overall, this microscope performs well and I can see myself picking up another!

I wasn't sure how well this little microscope cam would actually work, but it has turned out to be a hit with the kids. The zoom is really impressive! My kids have been going around the house looking at all different types of fabric and other items. Hair looks like spaghetti zoomed in and the different patterns in fabric has been really cool to see. The bright light on the front of the cam also helps because you can use at any time. It comes with a mini sd card, which is difficult to see how to get it in, and I'm not quite sure how to get it out yet, other than maybe with tweezers. That is my only negative. However, since I don't plan on taking it out, I'm not too concerned. It also comes with a usb c charging cord which doubles as a way to hook up to a computer to unload images. It was a pretty easy process. Overall, my kids love this little micro/cam and my daughter, who loves to be in nature, is looking forward to many adventures with it in her hand.

This is an inexpensive, compact microscope for kids to learn more about their environment. My son loves looking at everything in the house in great detail. I also bought slides to go with it, but he would prefer to look at the fabric of our couch (for example).
The picture quality is good, but not enhanced enough to view microscopic organisms.

Bought it for my Grandaughter but it ended up being mine. I look at old coins, gems and minerals, splinters. You name it.

My son finds the magnification of things to be really interesting and in his words, "so cool". He likes how he can take pictures and then relook at them every now and then. He wants to bring it in for his next show and tell at school.

Gave this to my 5 year old grandson for his birthday. It was a hit! The functions are intuitive, so it did not take him long to be off finding objects to magnify and study. Great learning "toy" for inquisitive children!
