52mm Circular Polarizers Filter True Color CPL Lens Filter with 28 Multi-Layer Coatings for Camera Lens Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2365
Hmm... I didn't think it was any different than a normal CPL, but it actually has a small difference. The difference is subtle but noticeable; there's less of the typical subtle yellow or gray tint, instead the color is a bit more saturated — or less saturated, if you will. As already mentioned, the effects are very subtle, but not negligible. It can be argued that you can easily change the image in post-processing, but this may save you an extra step or improve your direct shots. Is it worth the extra cost? I think if you're looking for better SOOC performance, why not, especially if you don't already have a CPL. If you already have a CPL that you really like? maybe not. But even if you do, the cost difference between this true color polarizer isn't much bigger, making it a good alternative. With one exception in the use case: screens. It is known that CPLs can turn your computer screen completely black. With this one I find I can darken a screen significantly (with a slight blue tone shift) but I can't black out the screen completely. So if you need to do that in your recordings, this CPL may not achieve your creative goals. Finally, the build quality is great too. The CPL interface rotates easily and the filter is well made and has threads that I have had no trouble snagging on my lens. A great alternative to the typical CPL, of good quality, with only a very small selective scenario that may not serve as an alternative to a regular CPL.

own a number of K&F Concept products and this filter is of the same excellent quality as their other products. The filter comes in a typical filter protection box and easily screws into my well-used Sony 24-105 lens. Note that I had to open up a bit to adjust the exposure for the filter, and no filter comparisons. At maximum polarization, the CPL gives the sky a natural look with no vignetting like I've seen with other CPL filters. The colors come into their own when the filter is running. This filter has become my go-to choice for bright sunny days. It reduces the luminosity by a maximum of about one and a half f-stops.

K&F Concept 77mm True Color Polarizing Filter HD optical glass, double-sided, 30-layer nano-coatings, circular polarizing filter (CPL), aluminum frame, water-resistant, scratch-resistant, fingerprint-proof I use filters... when I have to. Polarizing filters are among the filters that can make a real difference in terms of contrast enhancement/glare reduction in certain lighting conditions. It is important that I find this filter: - Excellent optical properties. Limited sharpness loss. (as good as it gets). - Neutral color - Adjustable polarization by rotating the filter as intended. - Thin. This filter is thin and should not cause vignetting in most cases. For the same reason, it can be combined with another filter without the risk of vignetting. While this is standard these days, it makes removing the filter more difficult than with thicker filters. - The threads are well formed and the filter screws on easily. - The light loss is about 1 stop, which is typical for today's high quality polarizing filters and better than the 2 stops of previous generations. Note for landscape photography: It is not recommended to use a polarizing filter with ultra wide-angle lenses in landscape photography, as they produce an uneven sky. That's a good filter. It performs above its price. Worth considering. Accordingly recommended.

In my use, nothing can be faulted, be it in the autofocus, the brightness and the robustness at the body level. Pay close attention when turning the dial to change polarization, as this can quickly change your colorimetry.

Great polarizer. He does his part well. Be careful, it should be used judiciously and when necessary. A note: no explanatory sheet in the package, no guarantee. And yet it is not a cheap product. I consider that a significant shortcoming.

It's great, and on top of that there is another thread with the same number of mm as the filter to add K&F Concepts Blach Mist or VND True Color...

There is only the latest K&F Concept C-PL filter, tested worldwide, and the picture is very bright and beautiful, and there are no problems at all. However, the silver frame has major irregularities and is slightly thicker. Ease of putting on and taking off has been improved, but as this part gets thicker, it will get in the way at the last minute when trying to put on the lens hood later. If you press it hard it will fit, but it will also catch when you remove it. So it's a good idea to attach it in the order hood → filter and when removing filter → exhaust hood.

The price is higher than other companies, but it's a quality product that goes with it. The influence of the CPL-typical color cast is very small and easy to use even in portraits.
