This is a cheap, high-performance variable ND.
The old model was a bit yellowish, so you had to compromise on that for the price, but I don't think the new model is affected by color cast.
There is no unevenness or color cast whether the dial is at the minimum or maximum setting.
I think this is the best value for money.
It's not dark enough for videos, so I'm hoping that a new version of the ND2-400 will be released.

My favorite camera is the D7000, and although I usually only use it for taking photos, I sometimes take videos with it, so I chose this filter.

This is the first time I've used a variable filter, and it really broadens the scope of expression for both photos and videos!
I used it to shoot on a snowy surface, and was able to add blur that varied from sunny to cloudy.

There is also a ridiculously expensive brass series for the higher grades, but since they are the same filters, I think this series is essentially the "high-end model."

Perhaps it's the coating that's good, but it reduces light smoothly with almost no noticeable color bias.

From the smooth rotation of the frame and the precision of the screws to the included case,
this is an unprecedented "high-end filter."

It's very satisfying lol

I've been using K&F products for my photography for some time now. I particularly like all of their filters. This ND filter is also well-made and does exactly what it's supposed to. It was easy to attach to my Canon RF 24-70 f/2.8. The 2-32 range is particularly well-suited for everyday use. Even when the filter isn't on the lens, I can easily carry it around thanks to the high-quality case.
In my opinion, this is a very well-thought-out, high-quality product. The filter is worth the money. That's why I'm happy to give it 5 stars and recommend it.

I tested it with a Nikon 14-30 and there was no noticeable color cast, and thanks to the ND32, no X-shaped unevenness occurred.
I think it's a performance that you can use with confidence even when shooting video!
The only thing that people will either love or hate is the case...

A must-have when shooting during the day when you can't open the aperture even with the lowest ISO sensitivity.

With this, you can blur the background to the maximum extent possible.

The quality is good and there is no so-called X-ray unevenness.

Filters vary widely, but the more expensive they are, the better they tend to be.

The quality is exactly what you'd expect at this price, so I recommend it to everyone.

I use the filter for filming when I'm using a more compact lens without a matte box on the front of my lens. After a few weeks, I can only say that the K&F filter performs really well!

✅ No X-pattern at high ND values
✅ No noticeable color cast in the video footage
✅ Practical carrying case with magnetic closure
✅ The filter runs smoothly and is easy to use

...of course, the higher-quality K&F Nano-X Pro or NISI True Color ND are better, especially in terms of coatings, but they also cost a bit more. From a price/performance perspective, there's really nothing to complain about with the K&F Concept Nano-X!

My first impression of the ND filter is very good. The materials and workmanship appear high-quality, the thread runs smoothly in my lenses, and the adjustment itself is very comfortable. I really like the fact that the adjustment range is limited by a stop in both directions, preventing accidental overtightening.

The filter also performs well in other respects; I didn't notice any color cast or uneven darkening across the entire adjustment range.

The current price of €94.99 isn't particularly cheap, but in my opinion, it's absolutely justified.

I used it with the AU-EVA1 and a cine lens.

It has a built-in digital ND filter, but I prefer this one because it allows for intuitive, fine adjustments.

It roughly reduces the light in five steps, so in most scenes you can get an image that's pretty close to what you have in mind.

Also, the torque when you turn it isn't thin, but has just the right amount of resistance, so it was easy to adjust without going too far.

I love these variable ND filters. While they have clear optical disadvantages compared to fixed ND filters, the advantage lies in their literal variability.
With "fixed" ND filters, you always have to carry a whole set of filters with you.
This takes up space, weight, and is, of course, more expensive. Changing them or choosing the right ones on-site is also time-consuming.

With a variable filter, you don't have these problems. Simply screw on one filter, turn it until you get the desired darkening, and you're done.

You have to pay for this advantage with a slight loss in imaging performance.
Since such filters essentially "only" move two polarizing filters in opposite directions, there are slight inaccuracies in the uniformity of the darkening.

However, this can be corrected relatively easily in post-processing.

Otherwise, there are no weaknesses, at least not that I—as a layperson—could identify.

For me, the advantages and user-friendliness clearly outweigh the disadvantages.

Thanks to the "handle," it's actually very easy to use. The resistance is also just right, so the desired setting doesn't change easily.

Everything is fine here, and the price is right when you look at comparable products.

I give it five stars!
