I really like this unit and have used more than I expected to inspect the electronics. The reason for 4 stars is due to quality control as the first device I got didn't work and the next one has an issue with one of the buttons not registering as easily as the others. The button works but it's a little annoying, but nothing important. For other buyers, this is a great device, just pay attention to the quality control.

Everything else seems fine with no issues

I purchased this for my friend's grandson, who is very smart and extremely curious about the world. He had it up and operating in no time and is examining anything and everything, from food to bugs to hair to dust... you name it, he's checking it out! The big 7" screen makes everything look awesome. It's easy to adjust and focus, the light is nice and bright and it is very sturdy. I am very pleased with this purchase! it arrived super fast and was really a bargain when you consider the advantage it can give a curious little mind for the future, not to mention his grateful mother for him to entertain and occupy himself during these long days of quarantine.

This microscope produces a fantastic image and the magnification is fantastic. However, there are a few criticisms. Mine came with a black blob on the screen and had to be returned. I'm guessing internal dirt on the lens or sensor. There is no indication of what magnification is used. The sound recording function does not work with firmware problems. For watchmaking it is excellent for oiling and checking, but the minimum magnification is too high for any meaningful work.

I've had an analog microscope before. It was already clear to me what you can do with a microscope. I was all the more excited to see what new possibilities the leap from analogue to digital microscopes would bring.

With the classic microscope, you can observe anything you can get under the objective lenses of the microscope, but turning what you see into a photo or a short video clip is not as trivial as it sounds.

The display and the housing of the microscope are made of high-quality plastic. The rest of the microscope is made of metal. Overall, in my opinion, the processing is very valuable. The device is smaller than expected, packed very compactly.

An English-language manual is included. I couldn't find any specific installation instructions. The assembly was not a problem, I just followed the picture on the box. I charged the battery overnight.

The next morning the battery was fully charged and as soon as I switched it on I had a clean, clear picture.

Speaking of the picture. The microscope supports two modes: "PC Camera" or the 7 inch display of the microscope. In order for the "PC camera" mode to work, the "amcap" must be installed. One can find the software on the CD provided by the provider.

Incidentally, a simultaneous display on the microscope and the computer screen is not possible.

You can't expect too much for the small price but I think you get something for the money.
The objects are well illuminated and are therefore very easy to recognize.
the distance and sharpness can be regulated quite OK. The specified magnification can only be achieved if you put objects in the opening of the microscope, which of course is nonsense.
Photo taking no problem. Operation easy. Battery life is of course not famous (about an hour) Overall, a good device for children to look at animals or other collected objects or to check electronic components or other miniaturized technology.

The microscope was a gift for a hobbyist who works with tiny electronic components. He is currently doing intensive laptop repairs and had to work on tiny circuit boards for this.

The magnification is perfect. Even small grains of dust can be seen.

The color fidelity and intensity is ok

. Here one would have to make deductions if it is important, but since we are on it

Overall good. Lens changing is bit difficult. Lens is too tight.
Could you please provide a lens for 1000X?

I bought this to look at silver hallmarks which take very good and very clear pictures with the 4MP image sensor. Also use this for weird clock repairs on my own clocks which are really handy for looking at the movements. I look forward to finding other uses and projects for it as well.

This is a great microscope for the money. Switching from one lens to another is a little tricky. Otherwise I have no problems with it at all.
