I was quite surprised at the image quality of this device at optimum focal distances, which is aided by a big screen (compared to most others).
I did look at the traditional design offerings (the ‘pistol grip’ type) as a couple of friends have them, but the resolution, illumination and a screen about a third of the size of this unit’s screen didn’t leave me particularly impressed.
There’s little point in describing the unit and it’s functions are these are adequately (and accurately) described in the sellers information.
In use, this does need some practice in terms of ‘wiggling and turning’ the probe, both to get it to where you want it, and to interpret what you are seeing which may at that point be ‘rotated’ from the ‘horizontal’ you have in your head. Once mastered, it can return an astonishingly detailed picture at optimal focal length (I’d say about 2 - 4 cm). Outside of that distance (as a pre-focused camera, it will actually see as far as you want it to), the image is less crisp, but still good.
I bought this to try to track down the cause of water leaking into the boot of my car which was leaving wet carpets. I was able to feed the probe up a box section in the boot area while leaving a hose running down the car’s roof. I was able to see where the water was coming in (very satisfying), which saved me any amount of stripping -out and trim removal. It was worth its price for this alone, although I couldn’t help reflecting on many, previous situations in house and car where I wish I’d had this at my disposal. Similarly, I’m anticipating this being very useful for similar situations in the future, especially as I’m not as young as I once was and tight ‘contortionist’ spots are getting more difficult as time goes by.
The last thing to comment about is the price. Some of the ‘professional’ units like this can cost three/four/five (or more) times the cost of this one. They might be more rugged for industrial use, but for DIY use this is perfectly OK.
All-in-all I’m very pleased (and impressed) with this device.

Product for exploring a fiber cement channel embedded in a wall. Thanks to this endoscope, I could see that it was useless and that I could condemn it. Thanks to the 10m cable, I was able to explore over a great distance. To facilitate guidance, I attached the endoscope cable to a 16 mm2 rigid cable. I also surrounded the camera with a miniature car tire to keep a distance from the edge of the canal. Images of sufficient quality for this use. Since then I have also used it to carry out checks at an inaccessible spot under my roof. Very practical storage case. Very happy with this purchase.
Very useful and easy to use

Since my TDI engine lost cooling water - and I didn't know from where, I ordered the endoscope without further ado. Really cool with the moving head! Thanks to the endoscope, the spot was quickly localized and now it's quiet! I would have liked to have looked inside the cylinder head of my 3.0 TDI (over the injectors or glow plugs), but unfortunately the camera is too big for that. :( the narrow version would probably fit, but it's too expensive for me! Price-performance - for the model - is perfectly fine

During the last heavy rains, water ran into our basement. I then suspected a rainwater downpipe that runs inside a house wall and weighed it up: buy it or have someone come directly with equipment? In the latter case, 200€ are quickly gone with the journey, as I had to find out myself.
I then decided on this device with a camera, which, as you can see from the example image, was the right decision.
Sure, it's not a professional device and the image quality on a large screen is only moderate. But you can't expect more in this price range. But it is enough, for example, in the event of a pipe burst, to get an initial picture of the problem and then to see where the problem lies and whether the professional has to come or not.
Of course, I can't say anything about durability yet. Anyone who has to use something like this on a daily basis is more likely to buy a device in the middle three-digit range.
All in all I am very satisfied and give a clear purchase recommendation!
Very good endoscope camera for private use

I've used this camera a few times so far and I have to honestly say that the price/performance ratio is simply unbeatable. Image quality is great.

I had to check the ground lines and ground points on my second car because I've done a couple of expensive repairs to no avail. Not all are accessible from the outside, so I was looking for a cam. I have uploaded a photo of the scope of delivery. This Ralcam has a control option via a screw on the handle, which allows you to move the tip of the camera left and right. The camera is equipped with LEDs and can therefore also be used in dark corners. The line is about 1 meter long. The battery has a capacity of 6000mA and is therefore well suited for long-term operation. An 8GB SD card was also included. Overall I am very satisfied and excited. Not to be forgotten is the high-quality bag for storing the good piece.

Must check gutter. Insulation pipe and bend taken by the electrician.
Camera plugged through. The camera looked out about 3 cm at the front of the pipe bend.
Skylight opened and camera with tube pushed over the roof to the gutter.
No kinking of the 5m long camera cable. No fumbling around when pushing over.
perfect picture. Pipe rotated 180 degrees with camera and checked the other side of the gutter.
Everything perfect.

Some endoscopes may be advertised as for iOS, but when received really aren't - they're meant for PC, Android - or Mac. This one IS for iOS! Here's a description of the item. The endoscope comes in a sturdy, white carboard box with a slip-on oversleeve - good for storage (don't tear it up!). It has a rigid, but still flexible, cable; comes with 4 different, screw-on ends to a) waterproof the camera and protect the external threads, b) provide a 90-degree mirror, c) add a magnetic end, and d) provide a cable-pull hook. Although the name of the App for Inskam (the maker) has changed on the Apple Store, it was easy to find, downloaded quickly and gave no issues. The sequence to use the endoscope is a little difficult to understand from the text (jargon gets a bit technical and loops back to cover different situations - it's all there but a little confusing) but is, in reality, simple:1. Charge the Wi-Fi module with the included USB-A cable2. Turn on the Wi-Fi module by holding the square switch for 2-3 seconds - it displays status in a text window3. On the iPhone go to Settings/Wi-Fi, Turn on if necessary, and join the Inskam network4. Start the Inskam App on the iPhone5. Access video in the Inskam App (click to view)It's that simple, really EASY! The Camera states that it has a "best range" of 3-6mm, but gives a clear view of my monitor 14" away, and items beyond (low res but acceptable). Near items are sharp. I haven't tried to access 1200p resolution as yet - haven't needed to!So, good, easy, inexpensive endoscope that works for iOS.

I got this to help with my arcade machine repairs, it really is very useful in getting a look at hard to reach places and getting close to components that will electrocute you if you touch the wrong thing. The LED lights on the end mean it illuminates darkened areas which is also very helpful.

If I had to make one criticism it’s that the default device orientation means the picture is mirrored, so you think you need to move the probe up when actually down was the correct direction. This can be changed in the options screen, but it doesn’t remember this when you switch it off.

Other than that, this is very useful if you’re working in cramped spaces and need to be able to look around corners.
