Black diffusion filters are a staple of a photographer's toolkit. It's quite hard to make a bad black mist filter, but this one beats the price/performance of any other competitor. Having a few Tiffen filters of different sizes, I wanted a cheaper one to try and I can definitely tell anyone to rest assured, these are of very high quality. The fit and finish are top-notch, and the coating is good enough to withstand rain and not influence the videos I was taking.
Its filter on 1/4 is stronger than the Tiffen alternative in my findings for those who were questioning that.

The glass is pretty easy to clean and is somewhat scratch resistant but not all the way but the quality is pretty good.
