Overhead Tripod 78"/200cm DSLR Flexible Aluminium Travel Tripod 22lbs/10kg Load - K234A7 + BH-28L (S210)
SKU: KF09.087V2
I used it with my canon 5d and a sigma 150 600 zoom to which I added a canon 2x focal length multiplier which gave me a 300 x 1200 mm. At night, I used long exposures to capture stars and a sunset. Of course I used a remote shutter to avoid any movement. The foot supported the weight which was 3 to 4 kg well and my photos are successful. Just one thing, I haven't figured out how to turn it into a monopod yet. I will read the note again.

I had a very dumpy, Amazon Basics-style rudimentary tripod that lasted me over 10 years until last year. One of the wingnut adjustments was over-tightened and stopped working. Got a cheap, "heavy duty" $40 replacement from Walmart that lasted about 4 months. Finally took the plunge and ordered this tripod, and I'm definitely never looking back!
I only use it for extended periods while shooting the statues, figures and pieces I paint, so administer with a granule of sodium, but this thing is more than adequate for what I'm doing with it and I'm very confident it could survive any trips I made for reference shots for paintings, in any sort of environment. It feels sturdy, holds position with zero fuss, and even the ball head joint feels great a few months in. The nicest thing is the added arm, which will make videography an easy adjustment if and when I get around to recording myself working. Love this tripod so far!

I recently moved back to America from Japan and had to leave a lot of stuff behind, Including a Manfrotto tripod so I needed a new tripod to sell some things to help me get back on my feet. I looked at geekoto and some other brands and they're all pretty much like this one except they either had plastic where I didn't want plastic or it wasn't clear where the plastic on the tripod is. Using the Manfrotto for years, I at least know where I like there to be metal and this K&F unit has a cast aluminum mount and ball and it's all very smooth.
Likes:
Ball head: is solid and smooth. I would have preferred a toggle over a screw for the quick release plate.
Legs: well they're legs, the aluminum feels solid. The also have stabby things at the bottom if you remove the rubber feet. Some one mentioned the locks for the leg extension were unfinished and sharp. Mine are comfortable to use.
Column: Not too much to say. It does it's job. All the locks have comfortable rubber grips. Someone mentioned the column will collapse if pushed down on. That's true of mine too but I have to make an effort. It's not something that's happened during normal use.
Portability: was not a selling point for me but it's nice to have the option
Monopod: also not a selling point but another nice to have the option. I've never used one before but now that I have the option I might.
Bag: not a selling point, but it's a nice one if the zippers stand up to use, aka not YKK zippers.

Very good product which offers many possibilities for a good shot requiring the use of the foot. Too bad that a counterweight system is not offered when the upper bar is in a horizontal position, for the stability of this placement.

I took this tripod on promotion, the price seemed very correct to me and rather well noted. It is large enough and quite stable. I say fairly stable, in the photo you see my L which holds without the lens collar, but I guarantee you that I was not calm lol Even with my 17-50 it is not reassuring. There is a hook for weighting, that's a good point. But I have trouble with its complex system of ball joints, I struggle to bend the right side, take out the bar, pull, fix... Yes on paper it's good but in real blah ... In addition once deployed there is no longer any stability. We buy this foot for the remote arm and in the end it's not terrible. In fact it's gadget and not pro at all. However, this is what this brand claims. The quick release is not worth manfrotto, you have to screw and they only give one plate... it's a shame. It's very pretty, there's nothing to say and the cover is magnificent. I bought a carbon foot from the competitor Neewer for barely more and their cover is much less beautiful. But the comparison will stop there. The Neewer foot is much more stable, larger, lighter and despite a bigger head (video) it is more practical. And carbon... it's a sick thing. So I'm sending the K&F back because I don't think it suits me. I'm not criticizing the brand, it makes products that are quite good and have a fairly friendly community . I will definitely buy items from them in the future, and hope I can give 5 stars...this is as usual a sincere, unpaid review. Hope this was helpful. a plate... it's a shame. The tripod is very, very lightweight. It feels good quality, it looks good quality, and I would go to say, as an amateur, that the tripod feels like a premium product.

There is also a very strong carrying bag with an additional shoulder strap. The bag is high quality and should last a long time. The legs are adjusted by clamps rather than screw locks. This makes it quicker to deploy.
