Overhead Tripod 78"/200cm DSLR Flexible Aluminium Travel Tripod 22lbs/10kg Load - K234A7 + BH-28L (S210)
SKU: KF09.087V2
Likes: sturdy and very configurable for changing needs
Didn't try yet: converting to a monopod
Dislikes: the bubble level is on the camera mount itself and not on the tripod or ball mount interface. so if everything below the camera is not level, when you rotate the 360 mount, the camera goes out of level
People complained about the ball head falling off in other reviews. That was all down to user error. One just needs to tighten the ball mount down against the tripod body and everything is night and secure.

I'd give this a five star but for the ball head. It doesn't lock well with a spotting scope or a heavy lens and camera body on it. I ended up buying a Neewer pan/tilt head, which fortunately fits the K&F tripod well. Other than that, it is a decent piece of equipment. Just keep in mind, it is a travel tripod, and won't give you a solid mount impervious to wiggling from wind or hand adjustments. For that, I continue to look for that elusive affordable tripod.

I use it for panoramic photos but also panoramic film it works well thanks to good fluidity

it's very light......just not sure of it's overall stability. I used it once so far, and while I was very nervous about mounting my Nikon and 80-200 2.8 lens to it, it seem to hold up okay. But, I definitely wouldn't use it on a windy day/night. I have a 25 year old Slik which is far more stable, and I also ended up buying another one just like my old one, as I Know how sturdy it is. The new one I bought, is the exact same design, but now under the Bushnell name. I suppose this one would be good on a hike or something that takes me far away from my 4Runner as it is very light and compact. But my old/new Slik/Bushnell will be my main tripod. I need to know that my shlt isn't going to fall!!

I had two cheap lightweight aluminum ones before at like $30 range, both broken within a month and two. Finally decided not to cheap out and pay more for a better quality one, and I found this. It didn't disappoint me! It's very well build and sturdy. It maybe a little bit heavier than the cheap ones, but definitely way way stronger. As long as it doesn't break easily, a little more weight is the least of my concerns.

Worked great for about 10 months, just short of its warranty period, then the rubber feet started falling off easily and won't stay on, and now as a result this s210 feet won't grip flat and concrete surfaces which is where I mostly use it in so now its not as study and stable anymore, especially during long exposure photography. Also some of the knobs on the ball head seem to be starting to wear out and not tightening as much as it used to, but the main problem is the rubber feet
I can't find any replacements rubber feet because they seem to be proprietary and K&F don't sell them separately. I tried reaching out to them on their website but they take forever to respond with their almost non existing customer service and when they did they also gave me no solution and haven't answered me back since.
Update:
K&F Concept reached out to me shortly after my review and resolved my issue, my s210 is now working flawlessly again. For this I will give them 5 stars

The tripod feels sturdy even with large lenses on it.
Moving the head is different to get used to. I’m used to a literal bar that you hold and twist & this one works a little differently... you just move the camera... so easier but when you’ve been doing it a different way for 30 years it’s a new way of thinking. Being able to convert to monopod is handy as you don’t have to carry both but the process does take a minute. If I know I need a quick change from tri to mono I still bring both with me.
Overall I’m pleased, especially for the money.
This isn’t my full time gig right now, so I’m going to shell out hundreds on a tripod. If I used it on location 8 hours a day & was tossing it around a lot really sort of abusing it, I’m not sure how long this one would hold up. But time will tell & for me as a side gig... it’s perfect & I suspect will be with me a long time.

When this afternoon I received the package I was so excited, when I opened the package I could see that the tripod I received is the cheaper version from this brand.

In my opinion, the tripod is awkward to work with for various positions. I almost bought two of these tripods and glad I did not. You can do a lot with the tripod If you are in hurry to set up and shoot: this is not the tripod for quick set ups.

This is the tallest and most durable tripod I have purchased for outdoor photo shoots. Since the photos and descriptions on the product page are thorough and show what the tripod is capable of doing, I will focus on the functions and features not highlighted that I appreciate about the K&F S210 Concept tripod.
This tripod includes a KF-28 swivel head and holds my Sony Mirrorless AIII camera with an attached lengthy G telephoto lens. The 1/4 inch screw in the quick release Arca swiss plate to accommodate all my previous mounting adapters.
The wide spread and thick metal tube legs even allows me to hold my camera equipment with it long legs and almost to the ground level thanks the red metal spring loaded adjusters. This tripod uses metal components except for the rubberized texture on the legs for the twist locking mechanism. This is comfortable and provides grip to quickly setup and the foam covered leg can twist and turn to form a tripod with extension tube. These leg extension mechanisms do not catch cords or clothing like the traditional plastic flip clips.
For storage and transport it folds to under 20 inches and weighs slightly over 4 pounds. This tripod can be stored in my backpack or on the outside lashed. Most tripods give a low quality bag made of thin fabric with small breakable zipper and an uncomfortable strap. Since K&F concert concept also makes high quality photography backpacks ( I can speak from experience since I own one of their backpacks) the company gives you an awesome carry bag that is worth $30 by itself. The bag has a durable exterior and has thick padded surfaces that is hidden between the grey thick fabric layer and interior black nylon that is easy to wipe clean if dirty from the tripod feet. The top of the bag features a reflective stripe that is an inch wide that goes around the bag, I was not aware of it until I was at an evening shoot and the light caught the bag.
