Filters are a great addition to your camera gear and can enhance your shots however filters are generally not cheap, especially as you go up in diameter. I have a bunch of Canon L glass including the 100-400L IS, the 70-200 F2.8L IS and the 24-70L f2.8. These filters fit the 24-70L f.28 with the 82mm diameter, however I mention the other lenses as they both take 77mm filters. Rather than buy 2 sets of filters (82mm and 77mm) which would be expensive, you can use a filter step down adapter which is relatively cheap and use the single set of filters on all 3 lenses. If you go this route I would recommend opting for a bronze filter adapter as these are less prone to changes in temperature so are less likely to stick.

Normally I go for B&W F Pro filters as these are extremely well made and of a very high quality. This K&F Concept set of filters however are of very high quality as well.

This set consists of 3 of your most common filters, UV filter, CPL and a ND filter. Each has its own use. I've met a lot of people who use a UV filter on their lenses for protection, in case they accidently drop of bump their lens, they would rather break the UV filter rather than the front lens component however UV filters do have their use. They slightly reduce the blue/grey casting caused by ultraviolet and are very handy when at height or photographing mountains causing slightly sharper images. I tested this K&F Concepts filter during a recent trip to the Rocky Mountains in Tennessee, taking photographs both with and without the filter and after importing the RAW files in Lightroom, there is a noticeable different once you zoom in on the image.

The CPL filter is used to reduce glare mainly when shooting water or metallic objects. Normally when you shoot say a pond with ducks floating on it, you will get the reflection of the duck or the sky from the water however using a CPL filter it reduces the glare and you can see down into the water.

Lastly you have the ND filter. Neutral density filters come in varying strengths with this one being an ND4 filter which is good for 2 stops of light. Say you come across a beautiful waterfall or fast running stream and you want to get that nice glassy water look that a lot of people take, this is when you would break out your ND filter, allowing you to take a longer shot which would give you that look without sacrificing any of the colors.

I've used cheaper filters before with varying degrees of success. With some you will notice vignetting or blurring towards the edge of the picture. This isn't a problem with these K&F Concept filters. They are well made and sharp corner to corner.

The K&F Concepts filters come in a nice little velcroed pouch and each filter has its own re-sealable plastic bag for keeping the filters clean. On that note this filter set also comes with a small lens brush for wiping away dirt and smudges that you inevitably get on them.

Overall this is a very good quality set of filters at an extremely reasonable price and I have no problems with putting them on my Canon L glass lenses.

I bought this set to enhance my picture taking to a new level and they are wonderful! Fit like a glove and well packed! Exactly as described and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some filters! The cleaning brush is an excellent addition that closes to keep it safe and secure in your camera case for when you need it! Well done K&F!!!

If you are photographing in very bright light, the neutral density filters can help by cutting the exposure and letting you use shorter focal lengths. A pen to clean the filter is included. Nice as I got the 40.5 that are very small and they get dirty.

The CPL filter is probably my go-to especially when shooting interviews. It ry helps clean up those exposed spots on the face. The kit itself is really nice and quality material. The case durable and keeps the filters in place during travel. Love that it also came with the cleaning cloths.

If you’re new to filters like me this is definitely a good beginner/intro Kit learn how to use them and which to use in different scenarios. Thanks K&F for a great consumer level product that works!

I’ll start this review with a couple of points: I was already familiar with K&F Concept, as I have several of their lens adapters (available here and elsewhere) to use vintage lenses on modern digital cameras. So, I had an expectation of quality from them. Second, I’m pretty much a filter snob. I use a UV filter on all of my lenses as a combination image improvement step and a protective measure.
Those things being said, there are three basic filters that photographers should carry: UV/protective, neutral density, and circular polarizer. It’s convenient if more than one of your lenses use the same filter size, because you can just swap between lenses and sometimes stack them. The 55mm size I got works on two families of the vintage lenses I shoot with, and I had been lazy about getting the ND and polarizer to use with them, so this was a way to solve more than one problem. (This kit is available to fit a wide range of filter thread size).
I mentioned that I’m a filter snob. If you’re putting an extra glass surface between you and your subject, you don’t want it to reduce your image quality. For this reason, I’ve always used multilayer antireflective-coated filters. On first inspection, the K&F Concept obviously has a high quality coating. They are labeled “HMC,” which is a designation used by one of the major filter companies. It may be that that company makes these for K&F; if so, that validates the quality for sure. Looking through them, they are optically excellent. The filter rim is made with two knurled gripping areas to make it easy to install and remove. (These may interfere with installing some old-school lens caps that fit down over the barrel of the lens rather than clipping on) The polarizer rotates smoothly, and the ND4 is correct for a two-stop light reduction. The included case makes it easy to have the filters ready in your camera kit.
I like lens pens. Having a clean lens brush handy is a necessity if you shoot in the real world. But the cleaning tip is kind of amazing: It’s like having a microfiber magic wand to safely remove smudges from your optical surfaces.
So, overall I think this is a really nice kit and a great value. You can buy lesser filters for more money for sure. Consider the lens pen a surprise gift.
Impressive quality and more impressive value. Impressive quality and more impressive value. Impressive quality and more impressive value. Impressive quality and more impressive value. Impressive quality and more impressive value. Impressive quality and more impressive value.

I have the 67mm size Concept set as well. This filter set is a very good quality product and excellent value on top of that. The filters themselves look and feel high quality, they are very easy to grip and install or remove, and the threads feel and look well-machined. The pouch included with them is a very nice touch on the part of K&F and it also exudes a quality build and feel. Photographically the filters are fine, they work well and I have not had any issues with picture quality. I highly recommend this series or sets of filters.
