great for powering your rig
The product comes in a nice, classic K&F packaging.
In the box, you'll find:
- V-mount battery
- Charging cable
- Instruction leaflets
I won't go into the technical specifications since they're already extensively covered in the product description, but I'll share my experience and impressions.
Upon opening the box, we immediately notice how well-assembled the product is and how well-chosen the materials are, with much of the casing being made of aluminum to fully dissipate heat. On the front, however, a glossy plastic cover hides a color LCD display for monitoring parameters.
Connections include a V-mount, USB-C, USB-A, D-tap, and a 12-volt output.
The product's maximum power output is approximately 50 Wh, which is enough to power a rig with a camera and external screen (like in my case) or 50/60-watt lights.
I tested the product and was satisfied with it. It doesn't tend to get too hot during use, and even with high-drain equipment, the heat is well dissipated. Its battery life is remarkable, but the power output doesn't allow it to be used with 100-watt COB lights. However, it's excellent in the ring for powering an entire photography system, including screens and accessories. It's also a great ally when your equipment is running low or if you need a stable 12x output, as in my case with several homemade LED lights for mobile use.
It charges quickly, taking about two hours with 65-watt chargers, and once fully charged, it can easily power a MacBook Air for mobile editing.
I also used this battery a second time, using the 12-volt output to power VHF/UHF amateur radio equipment, and again the product proved to be excellent (long listening time).
In conclusion, it's an excellent product. Not suitable for high-power lights, but effective for everything else. My final rating is 5 stars.
