It's a fun idea
If you're an old school, pre-digital camera aged person, you'll remember filters. I loved using them. In the digital camera age, I'm not sure they're totally necessary as filter, AI, etc. can create similar effects.
That said, I think this is fun. It clips on firmly. It will obstruct the top right corner but not tremendously. It comes in a nice case and comes with cleaning wipes. It's really nicely put together and I like that the case is a nice, firm plastic so you can store it when not in use. The case is also flat and low profile so it is easy to store or fit in a camera case.
It does work but the results aren't terribly dramatic. In my experience, these filters work best with water/sky (blue). They will enhance the contrast and brighten things up slightly.
I mostly gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars is because I have concerns about the clamps scratching the phone/screen as well as because it does obstruct part of the screen. I don't think it's completely necessary in the digital age but I also thing this is something you can do some fun stuff with.
