Better Quality Chicken Pen Door
I like that this door is at least made out of aluminum. I have a plastic one and it just doesn't make me feel it is strong enough.
We live next to the wilderness and have every kind of predator you can imagine.
Granted, if they want into our pen, nothing will keep some of them out, but this should keep the foxes, skunks, raccoons and possums out at night when they are most active.
If another bear shows up, nothing will keep him out if he wants in but we can minimizer small predator damage with this door.
This door is capable of either wired or battery power. You set the clock, set open and close time and door run time. If you cut runtime you can make the door open less for smaller birds.
I like this metal door much better than the plastic door and will be anxious to see it working on our pen.
