I bought the monocular for archery because my old one couldn't be operated with one hand and I also wanted one with a slightly higher magnification and larger lenses for a brighter image even in the twilight.
Given the price, and there are even cheaper ones in this class that are apparently almost identical in construction (but I didn't like the look of this one as much as this one), I was a bit skeptical, but I wasn't disappointed!
The glass far exceeds my expectations. The processing is very clean and the focusing is sufficiently smooth.
The image is sharp and in fact as bright even in low light as I otherwise only know from glasses from the 400 EUR price range!
It also feels very sturdy without being heavy or bulky.
I have to mention the following disadvantages:
- The wrist strap is a bit small for large hands and the strap is a bit thin (10 mm wide, although eyelets for 12mm are available), which I have replaced accordingly.
- It has a slight edge blur and makes slight rainbow fringes at long distances. But both are minimal and I only noticed it after a few days.
I still give all stars because you have to consider the extremely low price.
