I purchased this for my grandson, my daughter said it was a great gift. I was going to wait until Christmas, but decide to give it early, so he could explore outside with all the little bugs and stuff, may not be a much fun with snow on the ground.

The built-in LED lights lights up whatever you're looking at up close and the brightness level is adjustable, the Microscope is easy to use and hours of Fun for Kids. i was Amazed how clear everything was i was looking at and how close to each object i was able to get. really Amazing great Barchrons Microscope Camera.

Very impressive handheld microphone. Comes with USB charging cable, slides, and micro SD card. Very easy to use. Incredible level of zoom, up to 400X. Easy to make digital photos. Easy to focus with big focus ring in side. This would be great for teachers, scientists, kids, artists- everyone! Perhaps one of the best microscopes I’ve ever used. Very very impressive. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful, small microscope with amazing magnification. My kids love playing with this and trying to explore new things. It is easier to use and carry around than traditional microscopes. I highly recommend it.

Got this for my six year old. She loves playing scientist and this was the perfect gift! Compact and easy for her to use. I was happy it was ready to go as soon as she opened it. Picture quality is good.

Fired this up right out the box. Simple controls via push button and rolling focuser. It’s lightweight, has a Velcro strap to secure hand to unit. It magnifies from 100x-1000x and if you don’t remember the side focus roller you’re probably just gonna get blurt. Once I used that I seen things much more clearly at all levels. It’s powered by a lithium battery that can be charged quickly by usb cable. The screen is small (2”) but you can connect to pc and view which makes for some nice pictures. It also takes video too! My one concern is this - it’s plastic. And with a fold out viewer I can see it breaking easily in a little ones hands.

The microscope is an excellent way to get you excited about science. Being able to see the minute details and even be surprised about the characteristics of things I use everyday is incredible. This product offers value but it does equally show in the build quality, however it does perform admirably. I would recommend this as the ease of use and good results provide a great experience.

I'm an engineer and I got this microscope for my daughter's 9th birthday. She likes to catch bugs and look at them. To be honest I didn't even read the instructions, didn't really need to, the controls are quite intuitive and easy to use. This microscope also came with it's own micro-SD card, which means you don't have to buy one which is great. I guess I should also mention that the microscope allows you to take pictures and video which stores to the micro-SD card. I would recommend this for anyone with a inquisitive youngster who likes to study things up close, my daughter really likes it.
