Pros: The camera is small enough to get into tight spaces (yes I know this sounds dumb but some I have had in the past were not small enough). Being researchable it the only way to go. The brightness on the LED light is adjustable. The screen and camera is good enough for a quality picture. The cable for the camera is very long for an inspection camera of this size. Comes with some accessory tips like one with a mirror if needed.
Cons: The cable can make it a bit hard to maneuver the camera exactly where you want it to be. Also did not come with any sort of protective case so do not lose the box. Would be nice if there was some sort of manual focus. Either in the software side of it or on the camera head itself.
Durability: The inspection camera is built of quality plastic and will last as long as you take care of it.
Overall: Not a bad little inspection camera for the price and without the hassle of replacing batteries all the time. You will not regret buying this one.

This is a scope camera with a nice large screen. You can control light level and there is an articulation function for the camera end of the arm, so you can look one way and then another.
I have included samples of actual pictures saved to the included MicroSD card. I took pics of areas underneath my two PC monitors (which I'd never be able to see otherwise without moving the monitors), as well as an area behind a wall I was curious if anything fell down there in the past. You can take video as well.
Sometimes it can be tricky getting "right side up" correct when running the cable (it is a circular camera) but it is very easy to see surroundings in hard-to-reach areas.
Two very minor things to note... the Kentfaith listing shows the camera bending to look backwards. The camera will bend back there, but the articulation arm will only take it to a 90-degree angle. You'd have to manually bend it the rest of the way, and I'm not sure how one would do that if you needed to get that view and the camera is out of reach. Second, be sure not to lose the camera cap/cover, which is nice to have for storage. I lost it the first time I used it. I eventually found where I stuck it, but was wishing they'd included a second one.
The screen has buttons where you can navigate things like setting date/time, camera resolution, etc. Other buttons allow you to cycle light levels, switch from still to video, etc. A button under the screen next to the articulation wheel is handy for saving snapshots of what is in the camera.
I've owned other small endoscopes that connect to a phone and only give a usable picture when things are very up-close, and even then the resolution was barely usable. This scope is on another level, a professional device. Overall a nice camera for getting into hard-to-reach areas.

All high quality parts. Pictures up pretty close are very sharp. But it is easy to get disoriented after you have the end of the scope very far out of view. This is a tool that will take some practice for me to become proficient with. It's a very nice tool but be patient with yourself (and it) as you learn how to use it.

I like the fact that this bore scope's camera is housed in a flexible joint at the end of the probe. This joint is operated by a mechanical toggle lever located on the front of the controller. There is also an electronic switch to rotate the screen image. I had another device with a 16' probe that kinked and twisted so much it was useless. Disregarding the lengthy coil shown on the website, the probe length is only 3' long, but it's a useful 3'.
The camera has a fixed focus lens, giving a sharp image from 1/2" to infinity. To me, the pictures on the unit's display are much sharper than those recorded on the included micro SD card. This isn't a big issue to me, just an opinion. All the attached photos were taken by the unit in my workshop.
My review was on a free product, and I have rated it solely on its performance. You will need to review similar products to decide its value to cost ratio.

This inspection camera works well and has a good quality camera and light. The main selling feature is the articulation. It works great for engine work or similar jobs where you may need to move the camera around or even flip it 180 degrees. I was able to download the app and connect the camera to my Samsung phone very easily.

This is not my first borescope but my 3rd. I thought that I would start with something simple it worked and things were interesting, but I saw the flaw in my plan. Then I went with something much better (more modern and expensive) and it was! Suitable for child education, but not much else as it too fell short…
This however is by far the best borescope I have tried! It has a really clear picture. Easy to manipulate in tight situations. The light source works great and is easy to adjust. The focal length is wonderful. I am blown away by the ease of use, reliability, clarity, and versatility. It is a major step above what I have been using both in cost and quality, but this is well worth the cost! The cable is quite flexible to move through convoluted spaces but still stiff enough that it can mostly stand up on it's own.

Far better than a basic borescope. This unit not only has precise articulation control, but has several brightness modes and an easy to use capture button. The image clarity is great and it will allow you to easily inspect whatever engine, duct or crevice you need. It also comes with a nice protective case for safe transportation or storage. Highly recommended!

I really like the design of this innovative, articulating borescope. It is small enough to easily hold in your hand with a nice grip on the handle. The joystick takes a little practice, but is simple and straightforward to use. The picture quality is vey good. Everything fits perfectly inside the protective carrying/storage case. This is a great tool!

I had a very cheap scope without controls to turn the head. This is such a great advance for me. I've used it several times already to understand and diagnose issues and it made a huge difference in understanding what I was seeing. The images and video were high quality and the controls made it easy to use. Everything was very intuitive. I appreciate that the scope can be removed to clean and replace if necessary. I'm not certain where you would order a replacement. I hope they're available. It's also great that the rechargeable battery can be replaced. Everything is well thought out on this device.
