I really like the implementation with the folding lid, so the house can be filled without dirtying the camera. In conclusion, I can only say that the manufacturer has kept all its promises and I am now happy with a new device.

The KENTFAITH Birdfy Cam was delivered quickly. Everything was well and safely packaged. The workmanship of the camera is flawless and high quality. The scope of delivery is extensive. The cam can be attached directly to a tree using the included Velcro strap. It can also be screwed to a wall (screws and drilling template are included). An adapter for a camera tripod is also included if you don't have a tree or wall available! However, the operating instructions could be improved. It should have a chapter for one language. You have to search a little for your language, but all the necessary points are listed and explained in an understandable way. The charging socket is easily accessible. Unfortunately, a charging plug is not included in the scope of delivery. There is also no Micro SD card included, which must be purchased separately. However, I would have expected that at this price. So I used my charging plug from my cell phone. Setting up and assembling the cam was easy and was well described. The camera is even waterproof according to the IP65 standard. So unpack, load the camera, assemble the birdhouse, insert the SD card, download the KENTFAITH app and set up the camera in the app. Open the app and press the cross in the top right, select the KENTFAITH Birdfy Cam. Setting it up is described very well in the app and is very easy. After establishing a connection with the camera, you should find a suitable and safe place for the birdhouse. Don't forget to add bird food! After a while the first birds arrived and the camera was triggered immediately. The picture and sound are very good and you can choose between an SD and an HD recording. All settings in the app are extensive. The recognition of individual bird species does not yet work perfectly. In some cases incorrect, non-native birds are recognized. The camera can detect over 6000 birds. But you should be able to set this in the app! Maybe by country, region such as Europe, Germany. Then detection would be more efficient. Unfortunately, the names of the birds are still in English and the link to the bird description also leads to an English page. Maybe the manufacturer can improve this? My conclusion: I am very impressed and convinced by the idea of the camera, the quality / operation of the camera is very good. Personally, I would like the camera to be available in another, more subtle color. Like in brown for example. Then it wouldn't be so noticeable and would be easier to integrate into the garden or on the balcony. The price should also be checked again by the manufacturer, I just think it is too high.

The instructions are concise and precise in many languages. After the recommended charging time, the bird feeder could be easily mounted on the garden fence. Operation: The Birdfy can be easily filled thanks to the folding hood. Logging into the WLAN was problem-free and the SW update also worked without any problems. For a few days now, the Birdfy has been reliably recording all movements as a short video. All functions of the camera and the app work so far. Conclusion: I've had a lot of fun with the bird feeder so far and the birds in my garden have an extra source of food. I can recommend the product even if the price is quite high.

It is possible to filter alerts (birds only, all movements, humans, etc.). You receive a notification with a 10-second video of the bird devouring the seeds that you have offered it. It's very fun for children. The only flaw: the species detection which sometimes offers you non-American species. present in Europe.

The Bird Cam makes a good impression in terms of quality. The assembly is quite simple. You can mount the Bird Cam on the house wall or on a tripod. A base plate is included for this purpose. I installed the Bird Cam in our house. The app is quickly downloaded and the setup of the Bird Cam is explained step by step in the app. Then fill the Bird Cam with food (not included in delivery - logical!) and open it the first birds are waiting. The next day we were visited by a cabbage corn, which was captured very nicely by the camera. The name of a bird species is then displayed in the app using AI/AI. Unfortunately, this has never been true for me. Until now, only the cabbage corn came to the Bird Cam and each time a different bird species was displayed (in English). Since then, I have been giving regular feedback there and hope that this artificial intelligence will soon learn. Conclusion: Cam can be recommended. Microphone is a bit weak for ambient noise. You can hear the chirping of the birds directly on the Bird Cam while they are feeding! KENTFAITH app is OK, but the bird detection is not yet good. So if you want a cam to watch birds: Buy recommendation. If you want a cam to learn bird species: wait until the AI gets better.

Unfortunately it is not the best season to give seeds to birds and the feeder has not yet had a great success being in the city center quite far from natural watering points with the drought of this year there is less of bird. I was still able to test the ease of installation, the camera, motion detection and the battery. - The installation guide is well done, the connection to the network is easy via the app and there are quite a few possibilities for physical installation with the accessories provided. - For the camera the quality is quite good, there is a little noise on the background of the image but as it is made to film what is close it does not bother me. - The sensitivity is adjustable on 3 levels. At first I left it on the highest sensitivity, I received a lot of notifications because of the foliage and the wind and the battery drained very quickly. By lowering the sensitivity it works much better, and the battery drains much less. - Battery management is a strong point. There it has been in place for 3 weeks and the battery is at 70% (with too high a sensitivity at the start), as the camera is easily accessible/removable I don't mind recharging it every 3 months. In short, I don't mind recharging it every 3 months. I haven't been able to properly test it on birds yet but I'm still very satisfied with it and I think it will do what I bought it for when the birds prefer the seeds to what they find in nature.

It reports in the app every time a bird is in the field of view. This works very well for my parakeets. Except for the small thing that the birds are usually not recognized correctly. The glossy parakeet becomes a golden finch and the pink Bourke's parakeet even becomes a flamingo. This is probably due to the different breeding methods. All in all, the camera makes good short videos and certainly outdoors in nature too. Definitely a good investment for anyone who enjoys watching birds in their garden.
